I am in utter disbelief how amazing this Lego set is. This is the family tree set and you can add photos to the tree of your family and have it displayed which is so awesome. This is actually going to be big considering the size of box it came in. I love that under the tree there is a storage box maybe for small tiny memorabilia you can store in it for keepsake which is very cute. Me and my family are going to put this together piece by piece. Now I do suggest not small children (toddler) be around this because of how small the pieces are so psa for that. I love that there is a small Lego sign on the bottom of the tree which brings it all together. Overall super happy with this set.

This is such a cool Lego set! My family is having such a good time putting this together. We try to work on it a little every day. There is no one under the age of 17 working on it so it is age appropriate for my family as there are many small pieces.Everything snaps together perfectly without fail. We are so happy to do the family tree Lego set together. It's such a beautiful set.

Hello!Let me say that this is my first build all by myself. (never played with legos when i was little until i married...i know...crazy right). When i saw this i waited to purchase until we went to Legoland. When we got home, i was so eager to put this together. It is beautiful. reminds me of a type of maple tree with the coloring. I love the colors. I love the concept. I am a avid scrap booker, so this this right up my alley.The build was very fluid. The instructions were easy to follow. The tree itself is pretty sturdy. The way that the leaves were set up was so Cool! I added a base plate to extend the building area that i had and added to it with some legos and minifigures that i "borrowed" from my kids. Lego over recent years has been making some really nice trees - and this is one of them - I like the red/dark red combination of leaves which gives is a nice contrast to other trees [I like my display areas to be colourful]. Love all the little bits and pieces around the tree and that you can add.Relatively simple build - slightly - but not too - repetitive in places - but I find that quite relaxing.Haven't tried the photo feature yet...

This is such a fun and timeless. It is age appropriate, but adults love it too. I like that it has a purpose when it is complete- holding photos. It is a great conversational piece. It is sturdy and durable to add pictures. It is an educational process to build it and invites conversation about our family tree.
My daughter love this set. We got it in the mail yesterday and it took it about an hour to complete. We love that we could even hang actual pictures on the tree. The colors are super nice and is a good piece to have in display in your living room. It kept her occupied and all the pieces were there.Pieces are small so keep away from little kids that could choke on them.
The idea and overall shape and concept are amazing. However, the color scheme for this build is utterly bizzare, as if a committee was only allowed to make compromises. The base has vibrant colors and then the tree having a black body can even make sense to me in a picture frame blending way but then the orange accents and dark and bright red leaves are so garish but not to a level where it feels campy or playful, but just garish and mismatched. The structure of the build is excellent so I'm investing different colored parts to make it the display piece it deserves to be
I really enjoyed building the family tree Lego with my daughter. Straight forward but you do need to be gentle with the top branches when putting on. A lot of people are complaining about not changing the color of the leaves but there are a number of trees that have red leaves all year/3 seasons. Personally it’s the accessories that I could see being better. There are a lot of flowers which will be fun to change throughout the year but there are WAY too many extras. Changing the blossoms in the tree would be a pain to try and switch around without taking apart. I wish there was more then one apple to hang around or more then two cherries to decorate.
I recieved this set of Legos. It is the family tree edition has a lot of pieces, but it is pretty neat. And my 11 year old loved it he loved putting it together and being able to display it on his shelf! He is obsessed with leggos it was time consuming putting it together very tedious work but yes I would say he loved it was very entertained and I will be getting other sets for him! It is not safe for younger children so please be aware of that due to choking hazards ! It is rather expensive but I see it served an educational value and I am over thankful he got to try these out !!!
