I have made virtually all lego technic models over the years but this one is up there with the best of them. Quite challenging in bits and you need to follow the instructions carefully otherwise you will be dismantling and re-starting! Quite expensive but you get what you pay for. Great toy although I mainly buy to build them as it passes a few hours (or days), particularly during recent times.

A glorified remote control car

I have mixed feeling after buying this very new set on special offer. John Lewis delivered as always with a great price and the box arrived in very good condition. I was able to collect from my local store without any trouble.As an avid Lego Technic builder and collector however, I was slightly underwhelmed by this set. There are some new bricks and some novel build techniques, especially the way the suspension works, but on the whole the functionality is just that of a remote control car. It does have a fancy gearbox that would probably do well on the beach in sand but how many people would do that with an expensive Lego kit. Bought as present

We blught this for my son's 10nth birthday. He hasnt finished building it yet but is enthralled by all the intricate mechanisms and learning how they work.it looks like it will be exactly what we were hoping for. We bought this when it was on offer at 55% of the usual price, so amazing value for money for lego.

Brilliant set, great customer service

I was lucky enough to pick this set up in a recent sale at a bargain price. The set is fantastic, took my son just under 5 hours to build. It's a good design with lots of alternative builds and plenty of original pieces. Delivery was very quick and I'll happily buy from Asda again!

Great lego model for adults of all ages. Five star

The best lego model i have built. Real interest as you build the gearing for four wheeled drive. Mutliple motors and bluetooth hub. Controlled via phone app. Great adult toy.

LEGO Technic Mercedes Benz Trial Truck

Incredible working model.Really enjoyed building the truck by following the well thought out instructions.Being a mechanical engineer, could appreciate the technical detail when putting the model together.Downloading the control app was easy enough and have used the truck quite a lot.

Lego Mercedes Benz Zetros Truck

This was on my wish list but was out of my price range until I saw the price from Zavvi so I ordered it straightaway. Zavvi always pack the item in a strong box with inflated little bags so it arrives in pristine condition. It took just over a week to make spending a couple of hours each day. The result is an amazing 4×4 truck which is great fun with it's 4 motors. There were over 30 stickers to apply which can be fiddly but if you take your time they are fine and finish the model off. A great project.

Lego app controlled 4 x 4

Bought for Christmas gift for husband a really expensive one but hoped he will like it the on very website they have reduced it over sixty pounds again can’t review item as a gift but very unhappy with very appalled at the reduced price before Christmas - not on ! I feel conned

Technic Trial Truck

Extremely complicated to build for 11+ children, but after many days was achieved. Great truck when finally working. Price of Technics is always expensive which we know that before buying, but cannot say its value for money. Overall though good quality truck and cool app for controls.

Very Pricy but very impressive

Expensive set but a phenomenal build. Automatic locking differential is a huge step forward. Also the vehicle really shines when displayed. Even when it’s not moving you can tell it means business. It’s an impressive climber and crawler, but all those motors the hub hinder its speed. It is SLOW. Huge potential for modification. I’m looking into switching the wheels for a track set up. I paid full price, and have seen it at a significant discount since. I recommend waiting for that discount before buying
