The packaging for this Lego set is really easy to open due to being made from fully recyclable paper that peels with ease. The actual build was really easy using the two booklets for instruction. The performance of the vehicle is strongly built and very well structured. Myself and son built this over three days, it's a great addition to his bedroom. Highly recommended.

Impressed with the overall design and the mechanicals. From the suspension, gearbox, to the latching front doors. Also a solid build that my grandsons can play with! Highly recommend this Technic. Can’t wait to build the new McLaren also!

Another quality product. My son and I build Legos together. He has all but 2 of the modular buildings displayed on shelves in his bedroom and I’m the tachnic fan. I have all of the super cars, motorcycles, and all large scale construction vehicles. This one will definitely earn a spot on my private stash shelf. See attached progress up to bag 14 so far.
I chose the classic kit for my model, and they look great. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. One bit of advice, get some tweezers as there are places where the wires go that are difficult to reach with your fingers. This is my fourth set and Game of Bricks never fail to impress.
This is a set, which I wish for a long time and I build it by my self way back - but it wasn't so good and detailed. The build it self is interesting, but instructions are sometimes confusing (like attachment of dash board, rear axle,...). But at the end it all works out. I am little disappointed over engine itself - the old version of piston drive I prefer more. But overall - it is great and I would defenetly regret not to buy it.
When I ordered the set I expected a big car. But when I opened the box, I was even more impressed. The box was full, not much space left inside. Impressive 20 +1 bags and 2 big build instructions. The set is with all the technical details very challenging and you have to look twice sometimes to not missing or build it incorrectly. But it’s a lot of fun to build it and I’m looking forward to get something similar again. This set will get a special display place. And it a decent value for the money.
Good fun to build, certain aspects of the vehicle are lacking:-No windows but has windscreen wipers-Roofbox is attached to roof with one 2780 Technic Pin- Engine has working pistons but then is covered up with the engine cover- Rear wheel bracket seems does not end correctly and looks shoddy from a design aspect.I have triple checked the instructions to ensure I put these segments together correctly and all is in order.RegardsBrad
Just finished my Lego BMW 1000RR and I had to get a kit to follow. I’m now about 4 hours into this one and it’s just brilliant. I’m always amazed at the level in engineering that goes into the builds, and I find my self saying “wow, that’s how a Differential gear works” and “well, I didn’t know that did that, that’s amazing”The time I have to sit, and escape into my little build world re kindles my childhood sense of wonder every time. I find Lego so captivating and it’s becoming my Sunday therapy ! Thanks Lego
I buy all the large Technic sets, including the recent McClaren P1. While I love them all, the Mercedes here might be the best of all. Why? It’s the perfect blend of price and challenging-but-fun. The gearing is complex but nothing like the “you must pay total attention or your fingers will hate you when you take it apart to fix” super car builds. The little details - like the locking doors - are cool, and the size makes a perfect display. And, finally, you can stomach the price. A perfect Technic set. More like this one, please, Lego!
