Can see why it’s 18+ it’s gonna take a while to build . So excited for the finished product! Would deffo recommend this if your into Lego .

Apollo era Legends

It was the Saturn V rocket that started my Lego interest off as I grew up in the Apollo age, I have just completes the Notre De Paris & although I now own around 120 kits it is one of my Fav builds. But the Lunar Rover has again raised the Bar on Design & ingenuity. Amazing detail & complex folding for transport to the moon. Lego have some amazing designers. This is in one of my top 5. If like me you grew up when this was in use, then you simply have to get it.

Decent Commemorative Piece for Apollo 17

Just like Artemis, there’s no 3-D model on the app (the brilliant Lego Builder) so being a technic build it is involved and absolutely crucial that pieces match up correctly. Just having the manual alone is not good enough in my opinion. Build suffered for me as a result. Why is this the case? Artemis wasn’t easy either!?Model is a decent size, very satisfying once it goes together correctly and first sits on its wheels.As usual, big criticism once again is the stickers. Too many and at this price point we should really be getting printed pieces by now, eh Lego?? It’s not the first time you’ve heard this?!Once completed it’s a really lovely piece and deserves 5 stars. Prefer to display it with everything still attached rather than separately.

It is a great complex build.

I was massively entertained with this Lego set. There is definitely a reason for it to be 18 years of age due to the complex construction of the Mars Rover. It’s definitely not for young children due to the tiny parts I can safely say I was very entertained with this build. I was very impressed with opening the Lego set it was very well presented and loved the idea of having 12 bags, It was like chapters in a book. It had quite a lot of pieces that are new in this Lego set which gave it a different character to the assembly of the mars rover. In essence it was a great build. I would recommend any one that Loves Lego as a must purchase.

LEGO Lunar Rover does not disappoint

As an aerospace engineer and space enthusiast, I was very much looking forward to the release of this kit and purchased it as soon as available. This was the first Technic kit I'd ever done. It did not disappoint. The rover has a spring suspension and four-wheel joystick turning. I was impressed by the thought and engineering that went into this kit. I only wish lego did astronauts in the proper scale to add as passengers.

Lunar Rover Build

This is a superb model!I have only just started building it and so far everything fits in place. There is a vast amount of detail in this build and I appreciate this as a model of this type has long been overdue.The fact you can display it in all the various modes during its 'life span' is remarkable.Well done Lego on a great build!!

NASA LEGO Enthusiast

As a kid, my two favorite things were Lego and following NASA's Apollo space program. As an adult, I still enjoy building LEGO sets with my grandkids and I even have the Lego NASA sets on display in my home office. I have thought for years that it would great if Lego offered a Lunar Rover set and was so exited when they announced it recently that I preordered it at Lego.com on the day that I heard about it.Not only have I been building Lego sets since I was a kid but many of my nine children are Lego enthusiasts as well so I have assisted in the building of hundreds of Lego projects. This set is by far the best set I have ever built! I applaud the designer for doing such a great job of replicating an amazing piece of technology with incredible detail and function!

Very Enjoyable Build

I found this to be an interesting kit and fun to assemble. The system for folding/unfolding the rover for transport to the moon is intricate but really well done. Throughout the build it wasn't obvious from some of the instructions how/where a piece or sub-assembly would go. Unfortunately, the instructions loaded into the Lego Builder app was just the PDF of the assembly book.I feel that 3 pages of decals is excessive.
