This set is one of those you don't pick up for a vehicle or scenery etc, but it would have been nice to have something other than the fairly generic vehicle included, which seems like a wasted quantity of parts. I personally would have prefered a bigger statue model at the sacrifice of the vehicle, as the statue is a neat little build and looks great.Recommended for Spider/machete elements and statue, as well as an easy way to get minifig.

The little jungle sets come together very nicely, and can be easily incorporated into other non-jungle, but rustic builds.

Cool little set
3 September 2018

This is a nice little set to add to any jungle collection. The minifigure is average, but not bad. The jungle buggy is a little long compared to some of the other ATVs in this line, but it's not bad either. The little scene is good, but I'd always want more foliage. Overall, it's a nice, little, cheap set.

Good looking build
29 May 2017

I like this set mainly because of the statue element. I think it It adds a sense of mystery in the jungle! I like the spider also included and the way the leaf moves is clever. Overall, I really like the statue build. The minifigure looks epic because of the colour scheme and texture. The accessories are also really appropriate and useful. On the other hand, I think that the buggy does not look that good mainly because I do not like the shaping at the back of the buggy.

Good pieces... Okay builds

For a set less than 10 bucks, this set does what it needs to do. It’s not great, nor is it terrible. Here is a look at all you get.Jungle ExplorerOverall: 7/10My favourite part is the accessories, but is printing his good as well.StatueOverall: 10/10I really like the new spider piece used on it. The statue itself is nice and it’s great to get a crystal. The feature to move the plant aside is sweet.BuggyOverall: 6/10This build is the main part of the set but I think it is the worst. The buggy uses 2 main pieces and is plain looking. The print on the front is amazing especially after getting the artic and volcano explorer prints. I do like the spots where you can put the accessories. The set altogether: 71%The set is nice, and does what it needs ... MoreFor a set less than 10 bucks, this set does what it needs to do. Little packet of Joy
1 May 2019

This little LEGO pack is brilliant for the shopping trip or small present needed for your little or bigger LEGO lover. While it’s small it will make a brilliant addition to a LEGO collection or as a starter. My son loves the movable leave to reveal the blue diamond and of course the spider that protects it.

Pretty good
11 April 2018

So, this was the (official) lego set I got back into lego with. I had six bucks to spare, so i spent it on this. It was a worthwhile spending. For a set of it's pr ice, the buggy itself is pretty good, with very general and re-purposable pieces, as opposed to some sets where people complain about the overly specific uses of some parts. The minifig is nothing special, but certainly worth it's space in the set. The terrain feature, as to be expected with a set of the size, is tiny and not that amusing, however. The new spider mould is also not really my thing. I prefer the old one, because since it's mandibles could grab things minifigs could, it made a good decoration, and they could even utilize such to climb things. The new ones are just too realistic. Welcome to the Jungle!

(I'm adult Lego fan and to me it's important that set looks like realistic model, for my City Legorama.)Nice small Jungle set.Minifigs - love the jungle explorer, especially his torso front and back print, 5/5.Vehicle - I love the idea of jungle off-road buggy, but not much final product. This is off-road vehicle that should have roll-cage protecting the "person" from buggy flipping over, like in set 60145 or even set 6534, from my childhood, has some kind protecting roll-cage, 3/5.Accessories - machete, binoculars and diamond, good 5/5Animals - spider, good 5/5.After building set I really love that jungle idol! It looks realistic and hidden behind leaf with spider on it, in jungle that would make you go away not look what is behind.
