Instead of me writing this my brother wrote this:It was a pretty good set. If you are thinking of buying it as a present for someone make sure they like orange because it is really orange. The set includes a snow buggy, a saber tooth tiger frozen in ice and the massive four propeller helicopter. The cool bit is the retractable hook that by the way hooks on the the saber tooth tiger.overall it is really good and orange. I would recommend this for a friend. :)

I bought this as a Christmas present for my 6 year old nephew and he absolutely loved it. It's age appropriate and he enjoyed putting the pieces together and playing with them and it's something he can hold onto forever IF he takes care of it.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my 6 year old nephew and he absolutely loved it. It's age appropriate and he enjoyed putting the pieces together and playing with them and it's something he can hold onto forever IF he takes care of it.
Our son loves this Arctic helicopter (not bought into a fact that this is a quadrocopter, ha)- keeps wanting to play with it, lifting up and then freeing the sabre tooth tiger. We managed to 'sit' the dog next to a pilot, that made him very happy as well. He keeps watching LEGO Arctic mini-movies on Youtube too and definitely feels like an explorer himself. The tiger comes alive in his play scenarios and attacks the mini figures ))
Awesome kit (60193). Looking forward to building it and then modifying it with parts from bricklink. Thinking about adding 2 more rotors and control surfaces to the back!
Before i saw this theme from lego city, I only got lego star wars sets. But when I saw this theme for the first time, I liked the colors and how well destined they looked. I have this set, the ice crawler, and the snowmobile one. This set is well put together, and is very sturdy, however it could be improved by perhaps widening it out a bit so the atv could fit in the cargo hold and have the roof over the cargo hold open easily for easy access. Or you could put in a back ramp instead. I also had the idea of replacing the orange and blue with black and dark grey pieces so it could be a black ops military project where they are taking DNA from frozen animals to create super weapon animal soldiers, like in the new Jurassic World movie.
I was over in the US and needed to buy my Xmas gifts online. I bought this for my 6 year old nephew, and had the gifts delivered. BOY was I the favourite at Xmas this year. My nephew LOVES his new Lego and plays with it all the time. High quality, sturdy, and great value for money.
The Air Transport is a four rotor helicopter with lifting winch/hook (controlled by turning wheel at top).Helicopter moves on four snow ski shoes that adjust to slope of the terrain.Using A frame pieces the four rotors are positioned at an angle to the helicopter. Rear rotors are higher than front rotors.There is also a tyred Snow Buggy and an ice outcrop that contains a frozen sabre tooth tiger. The ice outcrop can be lifted by the helicopter.Includes two mini-figures, the Snow Buggy driver including ice-saw and two ice-picks and Helicopter pilot.This set ties in with the LEGO City Arctic Expedition Arctic Ice Glider 60190 and LEGO City Arctic Expedition Arctic Exploration Team 60191.
Is a great toy. My son love legos and putting them together and he said this was easy to put together. The only thing that is a problem is the blades come off easily
It is a cool looking plane but the hook doesn't look very sturdy. when you are building the plane you have to tie the hook to a string and it is a little difficult to do. however it still looks cool.
