I got this set on prime day for just ÂŁ35! And i was so excited. It is a really fun set that had a lot of cool play features such as all of the water cannons and vehicles. There are really only two problems with this set, the price of ÂŁ60 is a bit pricey and I think ÂŁ50 would be a better price. The second problem is to do with the size of the garage, the truck hangs out of the back of the garage, the problem is that this is one of the smallest trucks in the 2019 range therefore putting in bigger trucks from other sets is not possible. Overall though these are very small issues and play experience and value really makes this set one of the best this year. Good job lego, amazing set.

Bought this for my 4.5 year old boy, he loved it. His favourite part is the garage, that’s the main reason why I picked this kit. A few vehicles/drones to play with. He built it with a little help from his 6 year old brother, kept them busy for a few hours. He did wish it was the bigger kit that had the semi included, but I didn’t want to pay almost double for it. Maybe if it was a Xmas gift... but I do Recommend!

Grandson loves it. He’s 4 1/2 and can put it together. It’s a great set. Has working firehouse door!Disappointed unable to use the lego life app on his tablet to scan QR code to build. Every time we tried it keeps saying “Oops something weird happened. Try again”. First time we’ve encountered this problem scanning a lego QR code.
Finally LEGO have made an affordable fire station this set is great I love how it has a small dock and the 4x4 is realistic the only thing I don’t like about it is the flashing lights they are cool but are big and bulky I took them off and used brick built ones. The station was easy to assemble for me as I am a very experienced LEGO builder but a 6yo would love building this set and it would take them the best part of an afternoon. The fire station itself has a cool garage and the tower can store tones of figures and if you need more buildings they would be easy enough to add for any aged LEGO fanOverall get this set if you want an affordable fire station.
Got this for our 7 year old. Great set. Lots of minifigs and a dog, really nice vehicle with working lights and sound! My kiddos really enjoy it. Has a women firefighter with a drone and remote which is cool.Only thing we don't love about it is that the set up is a bit awkward for being able to add other buildings.

And the old fire stations are much bigger, sure they have more pieces, but those sets usually only take me an hour to build, and I'm sure kids could get some help from their parents if they don't know where a piece goes or if they need help getting those strings for the fire hose through the tiny hole. I personally actually like this set a bit, all I'm saying is it could've been better if there were more features and more pieces to make it larger.
I think that it's not to challenging but I feel that it works well in my city and you can easily add other fire trucks onto it. The lights on the truck are really fun and have a good light in the dark. The hose also stretches a good length not like some other builds. The boat could also be up graded a little because the dock does, like some reviews have said make it less able to be in the heart of the city, but I feel that is not really relevant as all the other bits make up for that.
By “poor choice” I’m referring to the lack of a rightful firetruck, and the overall downgrade in the building’s size as compared to its predecessors. There are positives, however. The building looks very good and modern, and also uses the interior space well. I love the new colors and minifigures (especially the tan fire gear), but it was a shock for me to see that the biggest set in the new fire line isn’t the fire station itself. In my opinion: same design theme, more building mass.
