I LOVE Legos and let me tell you, this set is so much fun and gave us hours of together time putting it together. I love the fact that it includes the figurines with it. Usually you have to buy those separately. Lego makes a great product and this one did not disappoint. The kids and I had so much fun with this set during the Holidays and continue to have fun with it! The grandparents even got down on the floor and played! I really like how it has all these awesome places to visit and vehicles for the figurines to get there in. We even had races to see who got to a certain building first! We spent hours laughing and playing, and that is a treasured memory that will stay with me forever!! Thank you LEGO company for a great and fun product.

They enjoy deep imaginary play though, and this set is fun for all kinds of scenarios. My daughter is smitten with the baby. That baby was a huge factor in her wanting this set. My question is though, where are the mini figs of color? So the yellow is supposed to represent all people ( I read that somewhere)? Sorry Lego, it’s 2021 and that doesn’t cut it. My daughter has brown skin and my son has white skin. They should each see themselves and those different from them represented. The lego was a gift so cant comment on that, I'm sure it will be good fun to build though - it's lego! However the state it arrived in was disappointing. The outer box was open and wrecked. So rather that fix it someone decided to put sellotape across the lego box and tape it to the inside of the packaging box. So when the tape was removed it ripped the lego box.
My daughter loves legos and this lego city was just what she wanted. She loves cars and playing pretend with little characters, and this lego city is the perfect combo of those. This was a little too advance for her to build as she is only six, so I was the one who mainly built it. It was easy to build and the instructions were clear. After all is put together, it seems rather small for the price but my daughter loves it. All in all I think it’s a great addition to our legos and can’t wait to add to the city as well with other city lego attachments. I think that’s why I like it, is that you can add to it. I would definitely recommend this to any family that has lego lovers.
Purchased as a Christmas gift for 9 year old granddaughter who is capable of building LEGO without help from adults. Child was extremely happy and spent Boxing Day assembling and then playing and interacting with her younger brother who had received the LEGO CITY Police Station. With LEGO, children forget their digital technology for a few hours which is to be applauded.
I definitely prefer the new road plates to the old base plates. They had no options with them really. The new ones can not only be connected easily but the printed lane white lines can be removed to allow for really wide roads which is great if you have a variety of Lego vehicles.My biggest gripe is there’re no glow in the dark street lights included. It’s the most expensive set in the new City range and not one street light. I think that is a mistake.
My kids are huge Lego lovers and Town center has been hours of fun for them. From the road plates to the tiny figures Lego truly thinks of everything. They took their time and didn't find it too difficult to put together, but were challenged enough to not get bored. The pieces are amazing! It even includes a seeing eye dog which my kids just loved. It's not as small as we thought it would be after it's put together and works really well with other pieces and sets they have. We'll be getting more and possibly another Town Center for their city they are creating.

The roads are simply superb and have revolutionised the Lego City.The minisfigures have lots of rare and uncommon parts and new dog leash.The garbage truck picks up crates and swings into action popping them onto it's trailer and the car wash moves it's brushes even vehicles go through.The unlimited potential of road layout here is great.I'd recommend getting a spare road set. It's cheap and will allow you to to what you like more easily.This is designed to git modular builds better.Again, if anyone isn't happy with the part to price point, don't moan, just move on.
