My son was absolutely delighted when he received this. He loves vehicles and has been jealous of older siblings Legos. this is the perfect little kit for him. ready to follow instructions for younger children and less pieces for assembly compared to kids geared toward older ages.
Lego sets can be frustrating at times, but the helicopter comes partially completed, so rest of the parts and accessories go together pretty easily for a 5 year old.

I always like the little Lego kits I find at JoAnn checkout around Christmas. I always pick up several for my grandsons. they love Lego and really enjoyed putting together the fire helicopter this year.
I bought thud Legi set for a little boy whose Daddy id s helicoptet pilot, Thd little guy was so excited when he unwrapped hus gift! He opened the instruction booklet and started looking at yhr pictures right away!
I am an early childhood teacher who bought this kit for a young four year old. It was too hard for him and he showed frustration while trying to complete it. It was advertised for four plus but is for older children.
What can be better than Legos? Nothing...except maybe Warhammer, but that's besides the point... Great Legos, perfect for Christmas...bought for presents
The kids love the helicopter and enjoyed building it. If your child likes firefighting this is something that you should get them.
Love this set, perfect for my 3.5yo! Just enough pieces to help him put together without him getting frustrated. Only critique is that the fire that goes into the garbage pail is freestanding and loose. Seems like an odd design flaw- you’d think it should be made so the fire could snap into place so it wouldn’t fall out easily?!
