Excellent train. The passenger and dining cars are very feature rich with lots of play options for kids. Despite the size of the set, it builds quickly and is very enjoyable. The length of each of the cars makes for a very long train overall. Low slung fast looking and the brick-built arrow on the engine is sick. The green glow from the rear of the running locomotive is a awesome touch in the dark. Love the lights and the finish, this is a great addition to the trains from Lego.

A friend bought some more track so this added to the play value of the set as the main loop is OK but a bit limiting. Click and collect by John Lewis made it easy for Santa!

Bought for my two grandsons but has entertained the whole family including Dad and Grandad. Everyone rushed to get involved building this quality product with the grandsons firmly in control of the remote control once completed. This is not a cheap purchase but with long battery life and no wires it make this product a perfect gift that will last for generations.
This lego train is next level! I bought it for my grandson's birthday, and it delivers. If it's your first lego train set, I would buy an extra set of train tracks. It's not necessary but just gave that additional track because it can get some speed up. The additional tracks that are already for sale do fit this train set. This train set is definitely a 10/10.
This set is great but the train platform was really an afterthought. There is very little to it. The battery compartment of the train is also built very closed once the train is assembled so it's difficult to change the batteries. Otherwise lots of fun and worthwhile!
Great train set , my son asked for this for Christmas and has been playing with it since Christmas Day.The only present he has played with persistently, worth the buy also fun to build and watch drive around on the track.Able to buy more track separately to extend the length of the set.Just adding batteries can be a bit annoying, would have preferred if it could be charged.

I'm writing this at point of realising I have no days to return the product to Very. Whilst taking these pictures its just fallen more and more apart. I guess i'll be writing a letter to Lego! The product is still useable via bluetooth but for me is only workaround and not a solution.
Super large passenger train, new sleek design. Awesome minifigures including girl with laptop, bike rider with pink/purple bike and wheelchair which fit on the trains really well. Goes really well with a MOC/custom rear carriage which is available on eBay. Lighting kit makes this a beautiful train.
The motor isn't super noisy but does make *some* noise if this is a concern.The battery pack is placed into the train in a way that you can turn it off and on without needing to open the train up and you can change the batteries without needing to dismantle everything.If you use a mobile app you do not need as many batteries. It has multiple speeds and can go backwards.I love that this has a wheelchair user, LEGO is great at disabled representation and diversity.
