My young son had so much fun building this, and it kept him occupied for a long period of a time and required little to no assistance. He said he absolutely loves it as he is a huge fan of the Animal Crossing video game, which is perfect as it still allows him to enjoy the Animal Crossing world even away from the screen. My favourite part about this product must definitely be how effective it is for children as it allows them to learn new key skills such as imaginative, creative, problem solving, motor skills and so much more. There is many ways to explore and play with this LEGO Set, for example - Isabelles house can also be renovated in many different ways (rearrange furniture, swap windows frames etc), You can also pretend to slingshot the present on the balloon, open the letter box to reveal a letter, water the garden, apple picking from the tree, read a book etc). I would highly recommend this product to everyone from all ages, and especially Animal Crossing lovers like myself and my son to definitely purchase this product as its attention to detail is phenomenal and the quality is top notch!

This Lego set is well packaged in a bright and colourful box with easy to open push tabs. The lego split into numbered bags which are worked thorough in easy to follow illustrated instruction books. My boy managed this set all by himself and he is 6 years old. He enjoyed building this Lego set and liked the fact that some parts can be moved around to his liking, like the furniture. The house is colourful and fun with lots of great characters and accessories. We would highly recommend this Lego series.

Animal Crossing fans dream of a Lego set. This Lego set is fun and engaging. My daughter had so much fun building this and seeing her animal crossing favourites come to life. The instructions were very clear and understandable for 6 years and older to be comfortably read and followed. The attention to detail on the characters Isabelle and Fauna is astounding. Once the house was built, it was extremely durable and had so many creative features, such as smoke coming out of the chimney. This set, and all of the Animal Crossing sets, feel like the game. Once you have a few, you want more and more of the round modular pieces to coordinate and build a mini island. Everything feels modular, from the furniture builds, the figures, the trees; it really is like playing Animal Crossing.This set in particular has amazing price-per-piece value. Awesome Set For Animal Crossing Fans!!

I bought this set for my 12-year-old daughter as a present. She built it right away and loved it. She has been building Lego sets for almost 9 years, so she finished it in about 30 minutes. She enjoyed customizing the inside of the house and changing the windows around. Lego really paid attention to detail with the Nook Phone and other small things. It is so cool how you can combine all the Animal Crossing sets to make one huge "world". I will definitely buy more Animal Crossing sets in the future.

Fine for young kids, but set's design is too basic

I appreciate that Lego chose to make Animal Crossing sets, but in many ways, they haven’t done the franchise justice. Presumably under the guise of these sets being for younger kids, they’ve missed the mark in a couple of ways. The main being that with so few pieces and such a simple design, they haven’t translated the whimsy of the games themselves. Houses in the game are exaggerated and proportionally about half roof and half stylized front facade. It’s almost like in every one of these initial sets, they were about 100 pcs short from getting the look right, with details like slight curves to the entrance roofline and non-straight sides to the entrance being essential. The games just aren’t this rigid. By focusing so much on the very youngest side, they’ve missed out on creating a more interesting, better designed build that would appeal to a much wider audience - even if still approachable by new builders. I hope they'll do a bit better in later renditions.I wouldn’t recommend this set.

Gorgeous set

I think this might be the strongest set in the line so far. The house looks incredible and has so much interior space. The printed phone and KK Slider Vinyl are wonderful additions, as are all the furniture you can fully up the house with. The interchangable windows is a nice little play feature and the small tree and pumpkin patch builds really complete the set. Finally Isabelle looks prefect and I'm thrilled they went with her New Leaf design for her first Lego minifig!

I was bought this set as a birthday gift as I am a long time fan of Animal Crossing. This was the first ever Lego set I've built and the instructions were easy to follow as a beginner. I love the little details that nods to the games, like the little compartment in the tree to put bells in, and I really like the ability to customise the windows and place furniture how you want to. The finished build is also really cute! The only problem I would say is that, when built according to instructions, the bit with the tree keeps coming off the main part with the house. I think this is because the tree makes that part quite heavy and its only attached to the main house bit by a small piece, so when you move the whole thing it comes off. Super quality set and so much fun!

This is an absolutely wonderful Lego set that my son thoroughly enjoyed building with a little help from myself. As expected the LEGO is fantastic quality and made with high quality materials making it super safe to build with. The Isabelle’s house from Animal crossing was great for my son to get creative and exploring the theme. He really loves the characters and the set was easy to put together and offered some fantastic features. Overall it’s an absolutely fantastic toy and I would definitely recommend!
