My son has always used the Lego Duplos in the past and this truck set has been his first set of "big boy" Legos. I was concerned that the pieces may be too small for him to handle but he quickly proved me wrong and was able to assemble the truck faster than what I would have been able to. You should have seen his eyes light up when showing off what he built. We are now hooked on the "big boy" Legos and he is constantly now building a lot more than just the truck with these. I highly recommend these to kids and adults.

The LEGO Creator 3 in 1 Race Car Transporter Set was a big hit with my 7 year old grandson. He was exited to build 2 cool race cars (one red and one blue), and an awesome transporter truck with a separate, detachable trailer with a ramp. If that wasn't enough, this set could be rebuilt into a mobile crane truck or a tugboat with a crane. This set comes with 328 bricks for hours of creative play! This would make a great birthday or Christmas gift for any LEGO lover!

I haven't put a Lego together in many years. I especially haven't put one together with these tiny pieces. But I had a lot of fun and it brought back memories of my childhood. I really like that in the set there was more than just one way to put it together. I chose to build the race car transporter. It took less time than I expected and it was easier than I thought it would be. I did struggle a bit with my fat fingers and some of the legos were hard to come apart once they were on. Over all I had a lot of fun and it was relaxing after a day of working. I will probably get more Lego sets to do in the future.

My daughter is 9 and my son is 4. My son is obsessed with all things race car. Well, my daughter actually put this set together and my son became extremely jealous. It was very easy to understand directions. We helped my son put it together after my daughter was done. They were entertained for hours! If you are looking to keep them busy this is the set for you. They had so much fun after putting it together and playing with the race cars and hauler. It was a lot of fun and the quality is fantastic! We our avid Lego collectors and really enjoyed playing with this set.
A great way for me and my son to bond. When I was younger my mom couldn't afford to buy me cool toys like Legos due to being a single mother of 3 . But she raised her son right cux here I am whit the only father figure I had being my mother. Me being a grate dad by giving my son all that he wants and ever stuff he don't. But back to the review. So it took us 1 hour to build we took out time and built so many other things n4 we even got to the instructions lol but tgats Legos for you only your imagination is your limit. Lots of wheels and lots of curved tiles. They practically give you two of every piece. Now on to the bad: the two racecars are in different positions when laid on top of the trailer. The top one sits flush and almost perfect, but the bottom level was built one plate too high thus the racecar doesn't sit well and can fall off during transport. If you have OCD you're going to have to fix this part Right Away. I took apart the semi but that one detail ruined it as a Lego set for me. I believe this set will be underlooked for the lack of minifigs, but honestly, who cares about them when you get tons of extra useful stuff. I actually would have liked some racing stickers but because of the 3-in-1 aspect I suppose Lego thought we got enough. Go out and buy this set if you agree; I wasn't disappointed.
Great lego set! My son absolutely loved this! We build for hours! So far we completed building a boat. It takes awhile because you need so many pieces and they are very small, but following the instruction book is fairly easy to follow. I'd say the most challenging part is just how small the pieces are and how many pieces you need to build. We will be buying another set soon!

The information manual is really helpful and is very easy to understand. My son actually loved it. I did not have to help him at all. He just followed the manual and was able to build the car transporter. It did take him some time and he told me that it is a little challenging for him and he enjoyed the challenge a lot. He always looks for a set that offers a little challenge and this set is the perfect one. He is now building the boat from this set and he already told me that he is enjoying it as well. This is seriously super fun to do. It did take about an hour to price together since there is almost 400 peices, and I wanted to be sure it was done correctly. The wheels actually work, as does the slots to hold the assembled cars in. It's a fun hobby , or a learning experience for the kids. It definitely teaches patience also.Over all this was exciting to assemble, easy to understand to do, and all around a great time killer.
The Lego Race Car Transporter is so wonderful! My boys ages 11 & 9 loves building each one, the tugboat, cat carrier &’ crane truck. They both worked on this for a couple of hours and had a blast creating each one. This was an average build for them and was not to difficult, I highly suggest it for their age group. They liked that the race car transporter had a trailer that detached to move the cars on and off the ramp. With the crane truck they enjoyed that the crane moved a whole 360 degrees while lifting other lego cargo. Overall since my boys are heavily into cars, trucks and anything vehicle related they loved this lego set and have already built it and taken it apart, time and time again. I highly recommend it!!
