My three year old twins absolutely love lego duplo blocks. They spend hours everyday building with them. They are easy for them to put together, big enough they don't insert them into any of their orifices, and for the most part they can take them apart also. Being lego, there are no problems regarding durabilty, this is a toy that will last years, they will still be as good in 20 year's time as they are now. The only problem is that as with all quality products, Lego can be expensive to buy, however if you manage to find the Lego kit you want on ebay, you can be assured of a quality product at a bargain price.

BOUGHT THESE FOR OUR 4.5 YR OLD BECAUSE SHE LOVES HER OTHER DUPLO ANIMAL SET BUT WANTED MORE BRICKS TO ADD ON TO HER CREATIVITY. DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO AGE LEVEL BECAUSE I KNOW OF 8 AND 10 YR OLDS WHO STILL PLAY WITH THIS SIZE BLOCKS, TOO.. SPECIFIC THEME SETS DON'T INCLUDE ENOUGH BUILDING BLOCKS, ANYMORE. MAINLY A LOT OF PREMADE FIGURINES THAT ONLY GO WITH THAT THEME. THIS BOX CONTAINS ONLY BLOCKS SO YOUR CHILD CAN USE THEIR IMAGINATION TO BUILD THEIR MASTERPIECES. HA!
Pros:My kid loves these things, can’t get enough of them and keeps them occupied learning hand eye coordination and problem solving skills.Cons:If you don’t mind the occasional stepping on pretty big LEGO block once in a while (At no fault of LEGO) then this is a must have for the kiddos
This is a perfect starting set of duplo. There are enough blocks for building a range of building and animals. There is a good variety of pieces. The set comes with cards with suggestions of simple animals to make - great for slightly older children to work out how to copy the design
We love this set! It was purchased along side the All-In-One-Box-of-Fun set and is all we need. The colors are great and allow so much creativity! There are examples of things to build which spark a lot of other ideas for my children as well. My daughter is 18 months, my son is 4 and they both have a blast with their Duplos. Since this set does not include windows or car bases, I would recommend buying this along with another set like we did. My kids are occupied for hours!
My daughter received these from Santa this year, and let me tell you I couldn't be more pleased! Of course duplo legos are a ton of fun anyways, but the fact that these came with little cards showing how to make things made it that much more fun! Instead of my daughter just building towers and such she has built a heart, duck, and a sea gull. So glad that Santa made this purchase.
I was amazed at the quality of the Lego. This set is perfect for my 14 moth old who loves the range of colours that come in the set. This will help him tremendously with motor function and creativity. I have used the box for the storage of the blocks for now and he loves pulling them out one by one and starting to put them together. It is just as much fun for him putting them back in the box one by one! Fantastic starter kit for any toddler. Would highly recommend
I bought this for my 1 year old niece's Christmas; I wanted something that'll be fun to play with but will also encourage my niece's development. I have to say I'm delighted with this.
