This is a great game to play with a friend, or even kids. I used to work with autistic children, and I loved playing this game with them in two-player mode. The game also has online features to play with friends, or individuals, from around the world. I highly recommend this game to all parents!

Solid Lego game but lacks some of the refinements found in more recent titles. Fun retelling of the first two movies with an enjoyable non-MCU open world New York component with lots to do.

Lego Marvel was, I believe, the best Lego game ever produced. This is a solid follow-up in many ways, but has some issues due to the decision to follow the MCU movies. The main levels aren't as imaginative or interesting, as they mimic scenes from the movies, but the overworld activities can get extremely creative. There are many overworlds, including the Manhattan island from Lego Marvel, but it also includes Malibu, Sokovia, Asgard, etc. In Washington D.C., a Gold Brick mission takes you back in time with Bucky to defend the capital from evil unicorns and chickens. It's very playful, and a lot of fun overall. TL;DR, If you loved Lego Marvel, this is worth playing.

Now for the record...I'm am 35yrs old and have been playing video games since I was a kid on a variety of different consoles. I honestly have to say that this is 1 of the most difficult games that I have ever played in my entire life!! When you have to go on youtube on a constant basis and watch somebody else play through the board that you are currently stuck on to try to mauever your way through the game is pretty bad concidering it is supposed to be a game that is meant for kids basically. The graphics are horrible!! This game looks more like a PS2 game graphic wise then for a PS3 game. Everything about this game is just terrible!! This should've been a free game on PSN for PS3 like 5 yrs ago that's how terrible this game is. I paid $20 for it and I'm sorry I ... If I would have known that this game was gonna be as lousy as it is I wouldn't have bought it. As a matter of fact if a friend was trying to give this game to me for free I wouldn't take it. It's just garbage on a disk!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!
Complete change of gaming, its funny yet can be challenging at times with quirky humour. Not so intense obviously but very enjoyable. I have to admit I do prefer the earlier Lego games, but all in all great fun.
Love playing all Lego games, fun for all the family to enjoy. Tests hand to eye co-ordination with some of the tasks and puzzling out how to do other tasks/finding collectibles not too difficult or frustrating.
Another great game from the Lego franchise. This time Marvel's Avengers are given the treatment in the usual Lego way. Game has the usual humour and surprises we expect from these types of games. All the characters are there and they look great on screen. Graphics are clear and control response is excellent. Many hours of trying to work out what to do and then replaying a level to try and finish all the challenges. Fantastic game that we will enjoyed by Lego game lovers and also by those experiencing for the first time. Very highly recommended.
Great game for kids and adults alike. Ideal to play, and with multi-player mode, no one misses out on the fun! Could be a little difficult in places for younger ones trying to work out what to do, but there are hint modes to help, as well as many youtube videos out there! Fab game.
About a year and a half ago my son received Lego City for his 2DS handheld. It immediately became his favorite game and he played it for MONTHS, despite the fact that he had many other games to play as well. I had been searching for another game that had the features he liked (Lego, Open world, driving, puzzle solving) but couldn't find another game that was even close. Lego Avengers is an upgraded version of everything he loved about Lego City. I am so happy that I found this as it has become his new favorite 2DS game.
Another awesome LEGO game! Plusses - cooperative play with another person, a ton of characters, many open world areas, lots of "Easter Egg" inside jokes (especially with Coulson!) and fun combo play between different pairs of characters. Also, a record *low* number of glitches (thank you LEGO!) Minuses - very occasional glitches in 2 player battles. If that happens, restart it and play 1 player to get through the fight and then let player 2 rejoin. Also, if you find yourself down to one gold brick to find and it seems to be below one of the park entrances, you may want to look up the answer. I personally would also have liked the dots to disappear once something was completed - trying to figure out which of 30 purple 'race' dots in Manhattan was the one I hadn't ... Other - As with Batsuits in the LEGO Batman games, I wish you could just scroll through Iron Man suits rather than going through the whole character change process and when trying for the "House Party Protocol" trophy remember that there are suits in other character slots and that it is for playing as every Iron Man variant in *one* session. Also, the recurring task of fighting street crime you will be alerted to is for the "You Asked For It" trophy ( Stop 10 random crimes in Manhattan during a single session).
