I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.Not the biggest fan of Ninjago sets, honestly. The set itself has 161 pieces but it takes just under an hour for my son to build it which doesn't occupy him for a long time (not much building is involved). For the price of it I believe it should have more pieces and be more fascinating, overall. The pieces are quality pieces, Ninja Dragon Temple is quite promising to be fun but I personally wish it was bigger and more complicated to build to keep a child's attention for a longer period of time.

With only 161 pieces, they pack in a Blue Dragon, 4 characters, a training dojo, and a dragon's nest (complete with hatching dragon's egg). This is a perfect set that has everything a kid needs for imaginative play. Both my 4 and 6 year olds are having a blast!

It's a neat piece that really makes the whole set stand out. The mini figs are interesting, and I really like the lizard-looking ones. There are nice accents and precise coloring on the pieces.

This set is label as 4 and up, though I think that's a still a little young. I would recommend this for ages 5 to 8. The new instructions definitely do make it easy for younger kids to learn to build legos. This is a smaller set, 161 pieces and it came w 4 build books! The older lego sets would have only had 1 or 2. Overall this is a fun set for anyone who enjoys Ninjago!
