The LEGO X-Wing 6212 is a great model and the figure selection is amazing. Great set thats worth what you pay.
Not as awesome as the new pi xwing fighter, but it la a close second. Very well built with the wings rotating by gears. Very cool. Fun to build too.
This was a Christmas present for my almost 18 year old grandson. He has been making these since he was around 7. He would make the models as soon as he got them. Every year they got bigger and bigger. They sit on specially made shelves in his bedroom. He was so excited to get the xwing fighter. All his Legos have been from the Star Wars collection. These are great gifts for kids if any age. Oh and once he starts it he doesnt stop til its finished!!
One of the best Lego builds we have done. Study, well made, realistic, and great mini figure selection. Kids can play with this and it not need "repairs" constantly.
The Set arrive quickly (although the courier did not put my name on the parcel). Built it last night, item was as described and a good addition to my lego collection.
As a life long Star Wars fan, who now has two kids the same age as me when I first saw it, this is a great toy to have. I am turning my son into a life long fan, and this one sealed the deal. He thought this was by far the coolest of the few ships he now has. The working S-foil wings are great and the fact that it came with six popular characters is the icing on the cake.
Really like the classic look of this x-wing. I see it as an earlier model in a series of x-wings (like how car models change every few years). As the manufacturer made slight improvements per rebel alliance recommendations. I may decide to get an updated xwing but model 6212 is vintage in my book and belongs on any avid collectors shelf!
