I bought this for my 6yo son to try his hand at building a Lego with moving parts. He put it together easily and loves playing with it. His favorite thing is to show everyone how the rotors spin when the wheels move.

Legos have taught my 4-year-old grandson how to interpret instructions and assemble something successfully. This item is for ages 7+ but if I purchased one for his age he'd have it assembled in 15 minutes. So these are great teaching tools because it's a puzzle that becomes a toy. When he gets bored he'll take one apart and reassemble it just for fun. I would recommend these for any boy or girl that likes to put things together from just bags of parts following pictorial instructions.

Another excellent entry set that demonstrates Technic lineās mechanical interactions. This little plane uses the front landing gear wheels to drive the propeller, the feature is simple but the parts are nicely arranged to maintains the planeās shape and form. There are no other moving parts other than the rear landing gear wheel, it is fair to say that one shouldnāt expect too much from an entry-level set, but adding movable rudders and ailerons would certainly add more playability and value to this already excellent set. The construction of the body is very solid, the only parts that are a bit loose are the System pieces used for decoration. This is a pretty awesome build. Just like almost all the other Technics Iāve built, itās sturdy enough for my toddlers to play with. Itās quite bigger than I expected and I really didnāt know what to think with the price being as low as it is. All-in-all, Iām glad I got it. The only flaw is the back wheel. When the kids are rolling the plane on the floor to make the propeller spin, they turn it and the back wheel comes off when keeping it on the floor. If there was a way to make the back wheel steer with the plane by rotating or something, it would have been perfect!
Great little lego build set. My 10 year old put it together himself and loves it. Especially the self propelled propeller! Very nice airplane for $10. I would buy it again as a gift for another child who loves Legos Legos planes.
This is a great product to introduce your child to Lego Technic. My 6 year-old son has since got hooked to Lego technic and purchased more technic products.The instructions in the paper manual are easy to follow. Each plane models took my 6 year old around 30 mins to complete. So to build both, it took around an hour.
Got this set for FREE on Prime day (ššš). Even if I hadn't $10 is a great price. Building the set took about 20-25 minutes to complete. The main feature of the set, the rotating propeller, uses some clever pieces and techniques, but that is the only play feature. There is also a fairly large number of stickers for the size of the plane. Even so, this is a good deal and would looks good on a shelf.
