Best performance for the buck.

After months of researching the perfect laptop for my use, I have finally bought this one. Great performance. Great battery life with the Ryzen 5700U CPU. Can play games with much better than expected performance (tried WoW, SC2, Black Desert Online, Half-Life 2 Update) Lowest screen brightness setting is amazing for when in total darkness. 16" is perfect for having multiple documents opened at the same time for school. Laptop châssis feels strong. Only downside I've found for now is the wifi card, the 5ghz setting gives me brainfog but it was relatively easy to switch back to 2.4ghz (it'll probably be a positive for most people, don't know why it did that to me)

Overall the laptop is nice. For the size it is very light and I liked the color. My biggest issue and the reason why I ultimately returned the computer is because of the Pen. 1. The Pen is not rechargeable. It requires AAA battery. I have an older Lenovo that also has a Pen, it slides inside the system and recharges.2. Even that I can overlook, but the design is horrible. The Pen holder is a cheap plastic piece that attaches to the USB port. That holder is definitely going to snap off. Also, even worse is when you use the Pen holder you cannot access any other USB port. I always use an external USB mouse. I can’t use both as the Pen holder blocks the other port 😣. Really crappy design.3. Every time I load MS Outlook it would glitch. Could be a software issue ...Ā MoreOverall the laptop is nice. For the size it is very light and I liked the color. Great Features but Poor Track Pad

This machine has lots of features that are well thought out and implemented. The touch screen is very responsive and accurate. The screen orientations are versatile without losing any functionality. I love the sliding camera lens cover for privacy and security. The machine is fast with sufficient storage for my needs. I feel like I got a desktop computer with the mobility of a tablet. The only frustrating feature is the track pad. It does not track well or consistently even with an updated driver. I purchased a mouse so that I don't have to deal with the track pad and solved the problem.

Great laptop

This laptop has been amazing! I love how the keyboard has different backlight options. I got this for college but in the meantime I have been using it for odds and ins. Though it is not best for gaming (like it said in the description) I still got Minecraft on it and it runs almost perfect, little to no lag and the 16ā€ screen is amazing. The battery life is my least favorite, probably because I run Minecraft and I also have a live background. It helps me keep my screen time down. My pen has been having some troubles but I think that is just user error I have not got used to it yet. I would decently recommend, has great storage and amazing graphics.

This Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 (16" AMD) - 82RA000JUS is my first AMD system ever. It is truly impressive. Despite the limitations of being equipped with merely 8GB LPDDR4X-4266MHz (Soldered) the performance is surprisingly quick. The 2-in-1 design gives it versatility, as do the 16" WUXGA (1920 x 1200), IPS, 45% NTSC, 300 nits, 60Hz Touchscreen and touch sensitive Lenovo Digital Pen. (Though the it is high gloss, the screen remains relatively smudge-free)Naturally, the keyboard has the renowned Lenovo tactile feedback. It is disappointing that the backlit keyboard cannot be set (even from within the BIOS) to remain on continuously as with the Lenovo laptop that this replaced.Unfortunately, it is only offered in an 8GB RAM configuration. It is disappointing that the backlit keyboard cannot be set (even from within the BIOS) to remain on continuously as with the Lenovo laptop that this replaced.Unfortunately, it is only offered in an 8GB RAM configuration. This is curious, especially when its documents specify that it does support up to a total of 16GB.The build quality is very high. It has a very solid feel with an aluminum top and an ABS composite base. 1 HDMI, 1 USB-C, 2 USB-A, 1 SDXC SD Card reader, and 3.5mm stereo-mic ports, plus the latest Wi-Fi & Bluetooth protocol make this system compatible with many current and legacy devices. It has other inputs with a multiple point Touch Pad, 1080p FHD Camera, and a Fingerprint Reader. The Micron 512GB M.2 2242 PCIe Gen4 TCL SSD benefits the overall performance significantly. After Windows 11 updates, installing several applications, and updating drivers, the Fingerprint Reader no longer is functional. Windows Face Recognition never was functional. Clearly, these are software issues yet neither Microsoft nor Lenovo support have the correct answers. It has become evident that I must resolve these issues myself (no surprise). Is this system perfect? No. And nor is their support (little expertise beyond reading from a script). However, with a few simple improvements it would come extremely close.I can highly recommend it (If hardware and software conflicts are not a deterrent).

Lenovo sets the bar high

Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5i (16 inch) works wonderfully. It really performs well on its i7 processor. The laptop is smooth, fluid and extremely responsive. I use this for work, which involves browsing the internet on multiple tabs, usage of Microsoft applications and general video watching. Nothing very heavy duty. The laptop powers up fast and has an excellent camera. You can get an entire days work on a single battery charge. Wonderful audio quality from Dolby. It's a great buy, and would recommend this laptop to a friend who has similar or slightly higher usage requirements.

Not New and Defective Laptop

The product page stated this is a brand-new unopened laptop, the box and laptop exterior were in great shape, however once I opened the laptop lid, I noticed one of the keys was permanently in a pressed state and I was unable to lift it up or get it to unstick which resulted in it constantly typing "vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv". The listing also states this comes with a 1-year warranty however when I entered the Serial on Lenovo support page, it shows there was only 7 months remaining. Once I powered on the laptop first the first time to do the First-time setup for Windows 11, I noticed tons of black ink-like blots and black spots all over the screen, but behind the glass. Unable to clean it off, assuming dust got inside during assembly or manufacturing process. I called Lenovo and they stated they would not cover the "Accidental Damage" or any repairs, even though I stated this is how it arrived and came out of the box, and was no accident or damage caused by me, it is clearly not new or unused. Walmart was able to process the return for me quickly but I'm still pending the full refund after 8 days, stated it can take up to 2 weeks.

Perfectly Adequate Workstation Laptop

I received this T14 as my company-issued laptop. Overall, it is a perfect example of work device adequacy. It's weight and profile -- while not slim and feathery -- combine for good portability, and it feels relatively durable. The fingerprint reader is convenient when it isn't being overly finicky. For a minimalist like me, the bland overall aesthetic is just fine. The Intel Core i5 makes it snappy, the camera is more than serviceable, and the monitor is sufficient in size and performance (significant bezels notwithstanding). While it's kind of nice to have a built-in ethernet port, I would have preferred shifting at least one of the other USB (A and C) ports or the HDMI port over to its place, as they are all crammed somewhat troublesomely close together along ...Ā MoreI received this T14 as my company-issued laptop. This is what I would generally prefer for my home setup with the way I have things arranged -- even undocked, I would like to be able to easily continue to use the Logitech peripherals at my option. The situation appears to correct itself if I plug the Unifying Receiver dongle into the the dock itself. I have not yet diagnosed if this is a Logitech, laptop, or dock issue, specifically, but it's a minor if persistent inconvenience. In total, the T14 has been a mostly flawless performer with adequate specs -- perfectly "forgettable" in all aspects, which is exactly what I want out of a work device.

Absolutely in love. The Ideapad Flex 5i 16" Intel was a perfect choice for me. As someone who hasn't had a laptop in over 10 years, this was a well worth investment. The trackpad is perfect and calibrated wonderfully. So easy to use and figure out. The touch screen is amazing and folding it helps in so many ways, what an awesome function. The graphics are incredible and I love how easy it was to set up. The only issue I have experienced so far is that when you have it folded, the sound is a little off just because the speakers are behind the screen and it got very glitchy when an update was sent however once it updated it stopped being glitchy and that's what you want. I bought this when it first came out for about 1000 at Costco. Bought the warranty. Within the first 6 months, it wouldn't charge. I did everything they said over the phone and nothing worked, so I sent it in. A few months after getting it back and BARELY using it and it sitting in my room, put away in a safe place, the bracket holding the screen in place started making cracking noises and the screen just popped out when I went to open it. I google the issue and discover there is a class action lawsuit against lenovo for this problem with this very computer as well as the yoga one. Apparently if you call and try to get warranty to fix it, they won't! And of course my warranty just expired.
