I purchased this tablet for our office, we needed it to operate some payments on site. I chose it because of the positive reviews and I can't believe how it is bad. It is so slow ! It takes 3 to 5 seconds to act for each thing I click and it's new. I wondered if there was maybe an update needed, but no. Charging it is also very slow. I totally regret this purchase, it's a p.i.t.a for everyone here. I will definitely buy an iPad without hesitation now.

Have been using this for around 2 months now and I have to say that I am not overly impressed. I purchased it as I needed a tablet quick, and the reviews were ok. The picture quality is great, really sharp and clear. It is the overall running that I have issues with on it. One of the first times I switched it on and got nothing, just a blank screen. This is obviously a quirk of Lenovo products as when you Google it you get videos with how to fix it this problem. I have had other issues with it so although I really wanted to love this product, sadly I don't. I previously had a Huawei product which was much better and wouldn't rush to buy Lenovo again.

Pros: Decent size picture and sound quality for watching movies in bed. I've had the 8" same brand and was very happy with it. I just wanted a bigger screen for movies in bed. It's light weight for it's size. Specs are good ( so my son says) for what's out there and the price. As said, I've had Lenovo Tablets before so, makes sense to stick to with what one knows and trust. I would recommend this to a friend. Cons: Rotation is slow to react. I have to tilt to make it horizontal. My previous tablet ,same brand ,seems to auto recognised which way I wanted to watch.

Faulty software, can't be fixed! DO NOT BUY!
20 April 2022

There is a manufacturers software fault with this product and it can't have more than one user. Key start up programmes will only start in the first user so it's useless. For the brief moments the kid profile works there's a backdoor to Google play and online shopping so it's dangerous, kids can download, watch and buy anything, not age safe at all. Very agreed a refund after I had gone through the steps of contacting the manufacturer etc.

Good option
19 July 2022

I needed an android tablet for use when apple is very restrictive with certain apps etc. Got this in the sale, bargain. It does what it is meant to. Battery life isn't that great but that is just like any other electronic devices these days. Graphics seems to be ok. Really basic use. The sound (speakers) is very tinny compared to apple when you don't use ear / head phones. Like VERY BAD sound quality as though i am sitting in car with engine running and the tinny sound comes through. But it is fine when played through audio aids. I would only recommend if this is used for basic usage, for example streaming programs. otherwise, no, spend a bit more money for a better quality one.

Great device
2 June 2021

Great device, the outer bevel is good for little hands. Because it's Android I really appreciate being able to set it up as a kid-friendly device using a family Google account. Hasn't missed a beat with the installed apps, unlike the cheaper imitation tablet my daughter was using before. It may be a learning curve but the volume and function/lock buttons on the outer edge are hard for me to locate and use. I also have a Samsung tablet for myself and with almost identical buttons these ones seem harder to locate for some reason. Black on black, perhaps? You may not find it to be a problem and is a very minor complaint to an otherwise really good tablet.

Reliable basic device
29 May 2022

Only had it for a few weeks and use it sparingly for streaming media only, but so far so good. I'll be honest it was an impulse buy. My laptop had died two days previously (don't try to balance a Scotch and coke on the bed while watching football), and I pretty much grabbed the first thing that seemed reasonably-priced and a decent size for viewing content. So I did zero research and didn't ask too many questions, so I was pleasantly surprised to find it's Google/Chrome-based. My Lenonvo laptop was Windows. That makes everything so much easier and accessible. Early days, but very satisfied.

Simple value Tablet with a little style
26 November 2020

This tablet has Lenovo's usual high build quality and the thin bezel and vibrant screen make it feel like excellent value for money. The tablet works well although it can struggle to multitask. This is my first non-apple device in decades so I am not an android expert. Confusingly, Lenovo sell a version with a stand for the same price, but you can't buy the stand separately. The stand and the device are paired at the factory do you can't even sell/buy a spare base. Get the stand version over this one. For reading, watching films and YouTube, and the regular social apps it's great. It's not a gaming tablet and it also doesn't support a stylus (Lenovo refused to recommend one that might work!) so bear that in mind. Sadly Lenovo don't seem to realise what a good piece ... MoreThis tablet has Lenovo's usual high build quality and the thin bezel and vibrant screen make it feel like excellent value for money. I am happy with my purchase but I wish I could do a little more with it. It could be so much better if Lenovo didn't insist on hobbling it

Very poor performance
17 December 2021

I bought this as a replacement for an old and low priced tablet , which has been obsolete since 2015. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. The old supermarket own brand tablet was by no means top quality, but this Lenovo makes it look like lightning fast. The Lenovo is painfully slow and continually freezes when scrolling. It has difficulty downloading and operating common auction site and shopping apps. While on Netflix, it simply switches itself back to the home screen without being touched. The Lenovo interface is counter intuitive and the camera quality is dreadfull. I'm not expecting miracles from what is fundamentally a budget tablet, but I genuinely believed that it would outperform an outdated supermarket own- brand tablet in quality and ... MoreI bought this as a replacement for an old and low priced tablet , which has been obsolete since 2015. Worst tablet I’ve ever purchased
25 April 2022

I bought this tablet as a replacement for my sons previous tablet which died as soon as the warranty ended. Unfortunately it is not fit for purpose as 75% of its memory is taken up by rubbish which is pre-installed and not delectable. I have tried two sandisk memory cards and neither will even format. After complaining to Lenovo they have stated a memory card would only extend memory for pictures and videos so not apps or downloading shows on Disney plus for my son. Overall this tablet is a waste of money.
