What do I think about this product? It does what I want it to do; suits my needs; was no harder or easier to set up than any other computer...What I like about Tier1 is that they don't sell stuff with bundled software that I'm never going to use, and there's no necessity to have the latest OS when I'm happy with the one I'm used to.I'm not a fan of unnecessary bells and whistles: I just want good office software and a basic photo viewer/editor, which I can easily download and set up for myself.

Very efficient. Love the flexibility I can take it to meetings. The display is great. Easy to use. The battery life is mot the greatest but its good. It feels very firm and durable. I love it. Its thr perfect size laptop/ tablet not too heavy.

My old laptop started to die on me so I did a lot of research and came across this model. I wanted something that had more memory and ram than my old laptop as well as an HDMI port. It was hard to find something with a smaller screen size with all those qualifications and be lightweight on top of it. A lot of laptops were sold out so I decided to take a chance on this laptop.The first one I recieved was actually defective with the touchpad and I had to get it replaced with a new computer. Once I got the new one, (which had a correct touchpad) I noticed it has the same "issue" of getting extremely hot on the bottom during the setup. But as of right now, the speed and quality of the laptop are great and for my needs.The design is a bit old school but still ok. The top cover of the laptop does get pretty dirty very quickly as it shows all the fingerprints immediately. The screen, which is anti-glare, I love and it also has a touchscreen capability.The charging cord seems to always give me a notification that it's not charging even though it is, so I'm a bit worried about that too.I'm just hoping this one lasts me as long as my old Lenovo one did of 10 years.

Affordable powerhouse

Bought this computer so I could complete large upper level programming assignments from home for my computer science degree. It served it's purpose well and even beat the numbers that my prof said I'd get with hardware like this. However, don't get this laptop if you want a PC based entertainment system. This laptop is not for that at all which can be great if you're the distracted type. As others have shared, it unfortunately does not live up to it's proposed battery life length. It's about half actually. Deducted a start for that. Also it's a finger print magnet.

Disappointed - Students beware

Upon the recommendation of a friend I ordered the ThinkPad L13 in June 2020 for my 11 year old son going into Grade 6. While his needs were fairly minimal, I decided to spend a bit more on a Lenovo Thinkpad versus cheaper student notebooks available because I wanted quality that would last more than one year. We are now 6 months in and have had nothing but problems with this laptop. We have had it serviced more than once under extended warranty with disruption to his studies at school because it has literally stopped working. Lenovo is not backing up the product in any type of meaningful way. They have indicated despite the number of problems that cannot be fixed, the problem needs to be the exact same 3 times before they will even think about replacing. Great laptop

Lenovo L13:I purchased this laptop two weeks ago. It is my dream machine even though its not fully loaded but I've brand loyalty with thinkware.I'm enjoying using this laptop. battery life is superb. Gets charged quickly. Everything is awsome about it.Problems:Bluetooth gets paired but doesn't connect to other devices. Lodged a complaint but haven't heard from them yet.Does heat up if not placed properly/ventilated.Other than that its a very very great laptop. Texture of the metal is different but unique. color is great too (other than black) lol.

Pros: Early days, but very fast. I've had added some further RAM as will be using it for CAD when away fro the office. Lots of connectivity, lovely screen and easy to use and responsive mouse. Battery life appears excellent.Cons: I havent found any yet, other than another USB C would be useful.

Good Points: Since I supported Lenovo from an old job in 2018 I fell in love with it straight away with regards to it's feel. performance, design and functions on the T460, 740 and new 480 so the obvious choice for me was the latest model that looks similar even though I supported and have a Dell 14' XPS MacBook Pro lookalike!Improvement Points: The only thing so far I can see is when you have the Lenovo design specific - Ethernet adaptor you use the USB-C port directly next to it..I think due to the size of it just not able to fit in.However since I have purchased an 13 in 1 USB - C Hub which incorporates the Ethernet in that, I simple adjust dependant what setup I need for my site environment!

Good Points: Very good performance at a good price. Enjoying the performance and rediscovering Windows after being on the Mac for a decade or more.Improvement Points: Finding it difficult to use the touch pad mouse because I'm used to Macbooks. Would help to have built in totorial for converts. Too early to tell how good battry life etc is.

So far so good

So far, so good with the ThinkPad L13 13-inch laptop after about a month of use. The keyboard is a bit tight, but workable. The benefit is it doesn't take up much space. The built-in mousepad is a bit quick to the touch, so I've connected a mouse and all is well. The setup took three tries -- probably pilot error -- but the third time was a charm. What I like about the L13 is that it's very quick to set up and browse the net. It's quite powerful for a little machine. Very good on Zoom calls. Suits my needs quite well. Very reliable.
