A nice little 2 in 1

I was searching for a computer to replace my dying laptop and iPad and this little tablet is the best of both worlds. The battery life is amazing, it’s nice and lightweight, and runs everything I need it to. I do wish it had a headphone jack of some kind but a usb-c adapter solves that problem. My only issue is that the included case and keyboard feel slightly flimsy, and the keyboard will unattach itself if the screen is moved too far back, but it’s not a major issue.

As expected.

Reviewing so Lenovo stops sending emails bugging me to add a review.Works as expected. Fairly stock experience, which is nice. Limited bloatware, only Dropbox, which was easily removed. A little heavy and I would have preferred the edges to have been chamfered or filleted a bit more, but it is not uncomfortable to use. Would have preferred it in a plain business black, I'm not a fan of colored cases on devices. So far as expected

Broken computer and no help with returns or refund

I received a laptop without a functional camera (it was installed wrong and was half stuck behind the screen) and could not get ahold of anyone to help me get it fixed or return it. I kept being redirected to the automatic tech support bot and it did not help at all since the camera was defective, I was not using the laptop wrong. I like the computer other than that but as someone who uses Zoom a lot I found this extremely frustrating, especially for a $1000 purchase

Giant leap above the Kindle!
3 March 2023

My five year old Kindle was getting less responsive and Kindle had made it more difficult to check out books through my digital library. In addition, I was just tired of all the ads. This Lenovo is a breath of fresh air!! It loads quickly, is much more like my phone in terms of a touch screen and the resolution is beautiful. I very much enjoy using this tablet and think it was a bargain for the features available at this price.

Great, but incomplete.

Pen works great, but I wish it came with spare tips and a tip pulling tool. They are inexpensive things that you'll almost certainly need anyway. I've yet to see another stylus of this type sold without. Even when they included the pen for free in the past, they included tips and a puller. Doesn't even come with the USB holder, which is a very inexpensive piece of plastic, but you'll want to have it. This is *the* model that works with my laptop according to lenovo, but it doesn't come with the accessories that you'd want to have with this laptop. Very odd.

Interface Needs Improvement
10 October 2022

Pros: Good connectivity, comfortable shape, and comfortable weight.Cons: Getting the pen to interface with my Lenovo IdeaPad Flex took a lot of trial and error. When writing in OneNote, I need to zoom far into the page for the writing to look fluids and not look jittery. I suspect that the pen is not overriding the touch feature and the IdeaPad is trying to read my hand resting on the screen while I'm writing.Overall I'm not impressed, but it gets the job done.

Lenovo's ordering process is lame. Verify 1st
10 August 2023

When you procure something with a product. Especially as limited compatibility as their pathetic precision pen has with their thinkpads, Lenovo would let you know IT DOESN'T WORK WITH THAT PRODUCT!!! I now have 2 Pens that work on NOTHING!!!! You have to research compatibility because Lenovo won't do that in the ordering process for you like every other manufacturer.

Nice tablet, but I wish it could use larger memory
24 February 2023

Nice tablet with Windows 11 loaded on it, provides file handling of the O/S, rather than having to load apps under Android to do that task. The integration of the (standard, not extra cost option) keyboard permits easy transition to wireless keyboard use from docked/connected use. I do wish it could support exFAT memory, but it recognizes only FAT32, which is not how large memory cards come from the manufacturer...so support of FAT32 forces use of 32GB memory cards (or smaller), rather than permitting 128GB memory card.

Satisfied with purchase.
1 September 2023

I purchased a Lenovo Digital Pen 2 to use with my new Yoga 7i 14 computer. I purchased the computer because I wanted a very portable solution that I could use as a tablet as well as a main computer thereby reducing the need to transport both on trips. The Lenovo pen was my second digital pen purchase and I found it to perform much better that the instrument that I purchased initially. I purchased the pen directly from Lenovo. I told the sales representative that make and model of my computer and asked for the most appropriate product to use with it. I have found that a good digital pen is extremely important when one is using the Yoga 7i as a tablet. The digital pen has performed as advertised and I am satisfied with my purchase.

Small but mighty!

This is a terrific machine! More than enough power for day to day tasks. As my desk I run it through an Anker hub and a 4K monitor with a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard and I am constantly surprised when I glance over at my Duet (I keep my calendar open on it) and realise how small it is. By itself I'm quite impressed. The keyboard is terrific and the screen, while small, it super bright and sharp. Just getting to know it as a tablet too and I love it. Makes working with a Chromebook a pleasure.
