I have been using this brand for years, and every so often I change them out just as a precaution, as I don't want to scratch my front rear elements on the lenses.

This pen is the hero no one asked for but the one most people need. The brush part retracts and the cleaner on the opposing end of the pen is a great tool. Its been used at least 15 times within my date of purchase! I just wish the cap on the brish side was screwed on as well because after wear and tear, it just falls off. Its semi-bigger size makes it easy to store, but difficult at the same time. If my bag is filled to the brim for travel, I tend to leave the pen behind and take a microfiber cloth for lenses. Overall love this product for what it is.

Years ago, at my daughter's wedding, her photographer had one of these and recommended it to me. I purchased one and used it frequently. Unfortunately I lost it while in Ireland so immediately purchased another when we returned home. It works great, is light, and reasonably priced.

Itâs okay. I read some reviews that said it smeared making their camera lens worse. So I tested on a pair of dollar store reading glasses that needed cleaning. They are better but not perfect. It would have been faster to use water and a clean cloth. Thatâs not an option on a camera lens. I may use it on a camera - still undecided about that. It has a nice brush at one end which I will use on a variety of things. Just not sure how often I will use the cleaning end of it.
Used properly, Lenspen is the best tool i've found for cleaning my lenses. it won't scratch your expensive glass, i whisks away finger marks, oil and other deposits you may pick up from the environment. I trust it more than micro-fiber, because the cloth will pick up potentially abrasive particles that can scratch the lens. Lenspen's cleaning element is protected when not in use so it doesn't share that problem. I used mine on an African safari (terribly dusty) and it worked like a charm. I never use anything else.
I purchased this pin kit for my lenses on my camera to go with my other lens cleaning kit I have, which is the old-fashioned kind with the little pump thing that blows air with the little brush on the end and I like this one OK itâs fairly easy to use. Itâs very compact and doesnât take up much space, so itâs itâs a pretty good item. Canât really think of anything to improve it. Itâs just a lens cleaner you know.

At some point I had all of my houseplants in the shower to water, cleanse, and socialize them. Well I though I could practice some cool wet plant shots and took my camera and both lenses to try it out. I ended up with water spots on both lenses and they wouldnât go away.
