On the size chart the measurements of this size are 27.25in waist and 36 inch hip. These jeans did not fit me and had no stretch. Technically, the did fit to be expected because they were big in the waist and super tight in the thighs and hips. Despite my error in sizing, the jean material is very high quality and not thin. There is a hidden button enclosure, which is really hard to get buttoned up and not at all convenient for going to the bathroom. However, if they did fit my right I would probably wear them a lot. Overall, I am pretty happy with these jeans, besides the fit. The material feels very strong and seems like it could last a long time. The patchy looking part is surprisingly a flexible but hard material, despite giving a distressed look. It looks very clean overall. However, the sizing/fit of the jeans just isn't for me. The length seems to run big and gives off a 90s feel, which some people may like but it doesn't suit me well. But the waist seemed to fit well. I'd be willing to try another size as they are good pants, so I'll still recommend them. I received these jeans complimentary in exchange for my honest review.

I like the regular fit, I am in my 40's and it's hard for me to adjust to the skinny jeans however, I don't want to be completely out of style, so I feel that these are the perfect style for me. I do like the patchwork in the upper right corner, right below the right pocket. There also very unique with the metallic rivets. The rivets range from about 1/8 inch in diameter to a 1/4 inch in diameter. There are 4 different sizes of rivets. They are button up in the front. Levi's 501

These 501 jeans feels like the Levi’s when they first came out. These aren’t the tight skinny jeans. They’re straight leg jeans. I wear a women’s size 27 in some styles and 28 or 30 in other styles. I also take into consideration any possible shrinkage, because they’re majority cotton. Each style number will fit differently. When you buy these it will save yourself returning them if you take the style into consideration. They’re a little expensive and hardly goes on sale at Target. I got them with a cartwheel additional percentage off total purchase.

Subtlety

I ordered plain, white 501’s. Or so I thought. From now on I will very carefully read the item’s description before I order anything. Part of the description, in this case, said “subtle tie-dye”. I missed that. When I opened the package I expected to find plain, white jeans that would go with everything. Instead, I found white jeans with what looked like blotches all over them. Subtle blotches, of course! Note to self- read item description very carefully when ordering anything! Will I keep these jeans-I haven’t decided yet. I might because I’m pretty certain that I’ll be the only person I know who has them! That’s not a bad thing!It’s not Mark’s fault that I didn’t read carefully. The jeans are just fine-they just are not what I thought I’d ordered!
