Close your eyes. Think “jeans.” Now open. They were 501 Originals, right? With a classic straight leg and iconic styling, they’re literally the blueprint for every pair of modern jeans in existence—burned into the world’s collective cortex ever since Levi Strauss introduced them in 1873. To this day they’ve never gone out of style. And they never will. Made for men, these timeless jeans are a wardrobe staple that will remain a classic for years to come.

I bought this pair of one wash dark blue a few weeks ago It says Levi’s Premium 501. Off course, it is not the same as LVC series of classic and legendary 501 which will cost us around $300.But, this pair is not bad at all. It is very close to our old day classic 501. Not too wide and not too skinny. It is a simple straight jeans. Off course, the quality wise, it is not as strong and durable as one of those old 501’s that we all know… Length and width got shrunk a tiny bit after wash and dry. I would say 1/2 inch ish. But, Waist size remained the same. Like I said, this pair is not bad at all, if you still want to wear the classic old school 501 with below $100.

I wanted to see if Levis 501s were as good as I remembered. I remember them lasting for years and years, being great quality, comfortable and just inherently good looking. But it had been a long time. Could they still live up the idea I had built of them? The answer's a resounding "YES!" The quality of these jeans is far better than anything I've worn- jeanswise- for many years and I have no doubt they WILL last years. They really are great felling and great looking, just as I remember. Now I have 'rediscovered' them, I am not sure I could ever go back to discount denim. I may have to invest in a few more pairs now; I know it will be worth it.

Ordered 3 pairs in 30x34 of the "Onewash Dark Wash - Non Stretch" in separate orders as each one gave off a terrible chemical smell, and was forced to return each. The first pair was washed before wearing. The smell was very apparent after warming up the fabric. i.e. after removing from the drier or after wearing them. Cupping your hands and blowing to warm the fabric works too. I returned the last 2 to the SF flagship store and they had never heard of this before. The ones in the store did not smell at all. I ordered the first pair from the same store as they don't generally carry the 30x34 size. I asked the store to investigate further. Absolutely not true and I added a manual note on the slip. Very suspicious. Bad dye lot? Only with this particular wash and/or size? I can't be the only one.And now, incredibly, I see the size I returned is available at my local store, and they never carry this size. They are selling the defective pairs I returned! If you are considering these jeans be sure to smell them before you remove all the labels.

Jeans different to the online shop photo. Very big on the leg. Fabric lighter weight than expected and I don't like the added stretch. Not at all as I remember Levis were back in the 1970s. Levis very expensive, not worth the money now in my opinion. Prefer the chain store jeans I'm currently wearing which cost only around £40. Very disappointed in the jeans. However the overall service is good, item shipped quickly and easy to return, prompt refund.
Love the fit. But the denim quality is low. Within 3 to six months of daily use, all of them are worn through…Each of them was rarely washed and when they were washed it was inside out with liquid laundry detergent on low temp.Attached is a picture of the less worn one. The other one has a similar wear and tear the is about an inch longer lower on the inner thigh. Both of them were picked up at an official store on the 1st of September 2022. As of writing this review, it just passed midnight and the date would be the 15th of March 2023.Levis, please fix this. I have turned to the competition for now and or second hand vintage 501 pairs. Sadly now I could not recomment.
Great product that I’ve been wearing since I was a kid. However, it was a bit confusing with the traditional shrink-to-fits not clearly separated from the pre-shrunk variety. The store didn’t have my size in the preferred shrink-to-fit option, so I went with pre-shrunk pairs of the same measurements. These are a bit larger than I expected, especially in the length, but I had them taken in and they should work fine. Overall, a good purchase, but the store should make an effort to keep a full range of sizes in stock, and more clearly mark the categories.
Levies rarely disappoint. These are the same quality jeans that I would expect to get. Heavy denim that will last through a lot of wear. The color isn't bad, a decent grey and the general fit is pretty good. I tend to wear a boot cut with my Ariat boots, but these work ok. They're a little baggier/loose than I prefer through the thighs but it's overall a good pair of pants.
These are the go-to choice for my partner where jeans are concerned. I wanted to buy him a pair for one of his Christmas presents, but the size was not on show in the Black Friday sale in November. However, I had the idea of going to the sales till and asked if I would be able to order a pair at the same price, to be collected in store (Kingston). No problem, and I was able to collect them a few days later when next in Kingston. A happy bunny on Christmas morning! Thank you for your efficiency and the continuing good customer service shown by all your staff.
It can be hard to find your favourite jeans again if you weren't paying attention to the description when you bought them, because Levi's doesn't label their jeans with a description but a "PC9 code" (in this case 00501-0162) but good luck turning that back into a description because their front line support has no idea what the codes mean. But now you know this one. The fit's great for me (skinny won't go over my calves), the colour's classic and they're Levi's, what's not to like? Delivery was prompt too.
