About 10 years ago, Macy’s sold an exclusive Levi’s taper jean called the 522. That was my favorite jean until Macy’s stopped carrying it. The Levi’s Taper 502 seem to be the same fit so I’m very happy. The one thing that’s different is the “flex”. I normally wear a 33-34 inch waist jean, but because of the “flex”, I opted for the 32-inch waist. I’m glad that I did because it does “flex” or stretch for a snug and comfortable, but not too tight fit. I'd buy it again.

The 502 taper is a standard fit. Most 502's are true to fit. This finish is lovely. The material is beautiful but Levi's have no idea how the material behaves. I'm a bang on 34 waste. Bought a 34 in these and they just fall off. Like wearing a 38. They are so flexible but the flex is dragged out and down by the fit lower in the thigh. You don't get that with the other denim finishes. I went to a store and they immediately knew which finish I was returning before I took them from the bag. I tried a 32 and the waist held but the legs were now so tight that I couldn't get them on. Such a shame. Ended up buying a 511 in the same material in a 32 waist. Still completely wrong but oddly, they fit. The finish is a great one if they can sort the cut right.

I’ve been wearing 511s for a while now but wanted something roomier - it seems my hipster days are coming to an end... My first instinct was to go back to 501s. But once you get used to jeans that stretch, it’s a bit jarring to try on ones that don’t. Plus, I love tapered legs. So 502s are a perfect cross between the two styles. They feel great on, with plenty of room in the legs and seat to move around comfortably without being too baggy.

I recently received a pair of Levi’s 502 taper cut jeans in size 32-32, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The dark indigo color is vibrant yet versatile, making it easy to dress up or down. The taper cut offers a modern silhouette that fits comfortably without being too tight, allowing for easy movement. The fabric feels durable but soft against the skin, and after a few washes, they still hold their shape beautifully. Overall, a great investment for everyday wear!
Great jeans, good product, you can't be wrong with Levis jeanse if you knoe your size with Levis and the model. Very fast delivery !
Bought two pairs. Both 502. Both listed as 34x32. Both listed as 99% cotton, 1% elastane. The similarities end there. One fits perfectly, as it should. It’s my preferred cut, size and material. The other pair I’ll be returning because they’re enormous and as stretchy as spandex. I have no idea how to reconcile the descriptions. Bizarre quality control. And one more thing: it would be helpful if the photography more accurately captured product colors. Both pairs are darker than their pictures.
My son is over the moon with them. In his words "best Jean's I have ever had".Ordered 30"waist 30" leg. Was sent 30 x32 & thought I would have to return but when he tried them on they fit perfectly as come up smaller.
I think these are probably the most comfortable jeans I have worn. But on me it feels baggy. I were slim fit and even those are not too tight. So when they say all body types, well I don't think it would be for the very thin person. Or maybe I am just not used to this style. Regardless I still thing they look nice so I am keeping them. But I won't buy a 2nd pair. I will stil to my 511's.
I purchased two pairs of these pants. Color/Finish = Headed South. Insofar as color and finish, they look great. However, I would not call these jeans. Not by a long shot. They neither feel nor wear like jeans. They are actually stretch pants for men. I you are built like me, slim to average build, you may have a problem with these pants (I refuse to call them jeans). The fit is okay for the first few minutes, but they stretch every second I wear them. In less than an hour, they look horrible. They are baggy and shapeless. Thighs and waist all stretched out and wrinkled. Even the back pockets stretch to the point that I have to continually check to make sure my wallet is still there. Not at all happy with this purchase. I paid a premium price for pants that I cannot ... MoreI purchased two pairs of these pants. Color/Finish = Headed South. I'm surprised at Levi's for putting a product like this out there.
I love to wear jeans, but they're not always the most comfortable to wear. The 502 Advanced Stretch jeans are INCREDIBLE!!! I bought two pair of the Headed South color and couldn't be more pleased. They stretch when you bend or sit and don't lose they're shape or stretch out all day long. They wash really well without any shrinkage at all. I only wish they were offered in more colors.
