I first purchased a size too big upon reading reviews (2nd pic). I suggest going with normal size and not sizing up. They were way too baggy in my legs and waist (I have thick legs so this is saying a lot). I was able to exchange my jeans for a smaller size at no additional costs. I just had to bring my exchange to a FedEx. I received my exchange really quick a few days later. This was also during the holidays, so I was surprised i received my exchange so quickly. My normal size fit great! They are still a little bit looser in the thigh area then I am used to. The material is thick and nice quality. I like the high waist.

My favourite fit. I have two pairs one in 28 and one 29. The 28 fits like a glove but is looser than a skinny jean in the butt and thigh, it’s a perfect taper for my body shape. I have about as much butt as the model but maybe a little more curves or shape, just for reference haha. The 29 fits around the waste comfortably but is quite a bit looser in the butt and thigh. The fabric buckles a bit in the back from this looseness. Its a nice in between of whats in style right now with all the wide leg baggy pants but not so out of date looking as a skinny jean. I like that its more shapely and shows off my figure better. It has a higher waist and I like to tuck in my shirts. I have a shorter torso and its a nice middle range of not too high so that I have a pancake butt ... MoreMy favourite fit. I have two pairs one in 28 and one 29. They have a small amount of stretch so they are comfortable but not too much. This, in my opinion is what makes them last longer. I always throw both pairs in warm/cool wash and dry on hot in the dryer. No problems with wear or shrinkage beyond what you would expect from a good quality pair of jeans.

My initial problem with these is the problem I have with almost all pants: I had to go up a size or twoto fit my hips, but then everywhere else was too big, and has only continued to stretch. The size chart is weird; I have a 28-29” waist, and I bought a size 28, but the waist is much too large. But the fabric is also just… paper. After only five months, wearing them once or twice a week, they’re starting to fray on the inseam and the back pocket where I keep my phone. I’ve been following the care instructions (wash every ~10 wears, cold water, line dry) but the knees start to get baggy after the second wear. I have a history of skinny jeans tearing at the thighs, so I thought I’d try a different style and size up, but I’m still afraid they’ll rip whenever I crouch ... MoreMy initial problem with these is the problem I have with almost all pants: I had to go up a size or twoto fit my hips, but then everywhere else was too big, and has only continued to stretch. I got them on sale and they are absolutely not worth full price. The only good thing I have to say is that the fabric is so thin and the fit around my legs is so loose, it feels like I’m not wearing anything, which is nice in hot weather, and they continue to fit great around the hips, at least.

Classic Tapered Leg Jeans
25 March 2024

Finally, 80s mom jeans that come in 30" inseam! I had tried out ones that were 27" inseam that were too short on me, they looked more like cropped jeans that I could only wear during the summertime. These I can wear all year long, no draftiness during cold weather. These fit fantastic. They have the classic high rise look with a little bit of a fitted look in the hips, and the rest is tapered with a relaxed fit which works out well for when sitting down. The tapered legs are slimmer in appearance, which is flattering with slimmer legs, and looks great both dressed up with dress shoes and dressed down with sneakers. Props to Levis for making these available for taller people in a longer inseam!

Fav Jeans of All Time! Got 2 color washes!!

I already submitted this review for these same jeans in the color “waiting time,” so I copied over my answer. The end description of the color is different though :)I am in love with these jeans. I originally wanted 501’s for that classic straight leg, not too baggy but also not skinny jean tapered look. I tried on 501’s in styles from original to 80s, and in so many sizes, but none fit right. 501’s that fit my butt were too small in the waist. 501’s that fit my waist were too big in the butt and have a weird extra space in the crotch.I gave up on 501’s and then I found these. These are perfect, I highly recommend them!!The color “don’t be frayed” is a beautiful light wash. It is a lovely very light blue without looking white or bleached. It has a bit of a pebbled look to it for that classic 80’s denim vibe without looking rustic or worn out. It’s the perfect light wash!

I have these in 3x colours and I love them. I’m 5”11 and the leg 32’s are perfect, they sit just above the ankle. The sizes vary though (I find the same with most brands) and having found my first pair in a size 29 I reordered in different colours but the sizing was different. For my third pair I returned them as they were way too tight and ordered exactly the same colour and size again, which were perfect. I recommend ordering 2x pairs of the same size and returning to pick the best fit. The difference was quite staggering. Returns are processed really quickly.

Nice jeans
7 December 2023

First thing I noticed straight out of the package was these are lighter weight than previous ones I purchased. Second thing I noticed was that they are full length, so no cropped ankle jeans and that is a good thing for me. I love the higher rise because those are more flattering for the female figure. These are baggy in the seat and thighs. I had hoped they would not be skin tight and they definitely are not that. I usually like slim fit and tapered legs, so i should have bought those but they did not have my size and don’t seem to replenish their stock very often. I love the color .

Not true color or defective fabric?
22 February 2024

So I have a problem with my new jeans - 80s mom jeans - how is my driving shade. When I wore them few times I put a tiny barely noticeable coffee stain. When I washed them my husband put little of oxiclean to help with the stain. After washing the area where my husband put stain remover was way darker than color of jeans. I didn’t expect that to happen (never ever had that problem before with other clothes) and was very disappointed. Is that shade painted on jeans not bleached/washed? Is actual color darker?Giving 3 stars because I really liked the fit and shade before it got ruined.

Finally. 100% cotton, no distressing, accurate sizing, in a shape that fits a curvy 5’1” lady. I have a 25” waist, 36” hips, and 20” thighs and the 24x28 fit just snug enough to stretch out to fit like a glove. Going to have to stock up since Levi’s loves to discontinue every pair of jeans that fits me perfectly 😭 Levi’s, I beg you, please never stop making these, and please make some dark indigo washes in the 100% cotton. Since I switched over I can’t go back to wearing cotton/spandex blends - they feel clingy and bunchy and uncomfortable. These are snug in all the right places. Also love the light wash.
