I hate shopping. Absolutely can't stand it. However, when I went to JC Penny's inFlagstaff to get new Levi's it was an easy and comfortable experience. There was a wide selection (actually found a size that fits!) and the sales clerk went through a series of events to get me a price that was reasonable. So good!

My brother convinced me levis were worth the price (got them on sale) and he was totally right. I got these and Column Women’s Jeans which I did end up returning. These jeans fit perfectly and I love the button fly. I’m 5’3”, 120 lbs, and have a small waist. When I measure where jeans usually hit, an inch or 2 below my waist, it’s 27”. The 26x30s were a little snug with a t-shirt tucked in but quickly molded to my body after 2 days. The fabric is good quality thicker denim and the length is perfect for sandals, ankle boots, and tennis shoes. The stone wash was a little grayer than pictured which is actually the color I prefer. I’ll be ordering another pair as soon as there’s another sale! I have my mom’s genuine Gap mom jeans from the 90s and these are the closest ... MoreMy brother convinced me levis were worth the price (got them on sale) and he was totally right. Fit is not flattering

The jeans appear to be for a man with wider hips. And the legs then come in tight which does not at all flatter. A traditional fit would be better as like Lands End men's Jeans. The material however is much sought after in comfort and lightness. Could Levi work on this and have a winner?

Great fit
23 January 2024

I'm very tall and skinny (32" waist and 36" inseam) and it's rare that I can buy a pair of jeans online and they fit perfectly without any alterations. These were a perfect fit. I'm not a fan of the "medium stonewash" colour, but it was the only colour in stock in my size. I'd also prefer a slightly lighter weight fabric for the summer months, but it's okay, and should be more durable.

Having 30 pairs of 501s obviously I love these.
30 August 2023

I have over 30 pairs of Levi’s 501, 2 pairs of the limited edition Banner 501-150 years plus many, many other Levi’s jeans, including 516, etc. My favourite colours have always been Stonewash. I also love the colour Rinse. This latest Medium Stonewash in 501s is great. The only thing I’ve noticed is that Levi’s Stonewash now is not as light in colour like it used to be, however these are still fine. A Levi’s girl for 50 years ! Does that deserve a medal? I am not one for whisking of my jeans, I always buy just the plain one and certainly not the ones with holes. Appreciate its trendy, but I’m a traditionalist.

Macy's Levi's jeans
2 December 2023

I haven't had to buy a pair of Levis for quite some time, but I finally needed to get a couple of pairs after losing a bunch of weight, so I bought a two pairs of Levi's 505 jeans. I noticed that the denim seems to be a lighter grade than all of the jeans that I've bought over the last 5 decades, and the jeans only have 5 belt loops instead of the customary 7. I'm sure that Macy's wouldn't sell counterfeit clothing, so I can only say that I think that Levi's has lowered the quality of their product while increasing the price. I doubt that these will last as long as my others have.

Macy's still strong, Levis getting thinner
27 January 2024

Macy's is great! My concern is the fabric used currently for Levis jeans isn't as durable as it used to be. I have always prized Levis for their durability but they have been moving away from that in recent years. Their construction and fit remain good but the fabric is of lower quality that is vulnerable to splitting....I have three pairs that have opened up in the fabric, not along the seams (nor between the thighs), that I have never experienced before - along the outer hip, or in the crotch - and the fit for me is reasonable loose...not tight at all. The lighter weight denim is all I can distinguish from earlier versions.

Not The Same Levi's Material I'm Used To!
28 September 2024

I bought these in May and when received I thought they didn't feel right. These are not the same material that I've received from Levi's in the past. The button holes don't match well at all. Perhaps outsourced to a 3rd party to produced that used different material and definitely not the Levi's I've purchased in the past.

Probably not worth the price bump.
29 November 2023

I don't know if these are worth the price bump from a normal pair of 501's. They aren't 100% cotton they are 74% and 26% hemp per interior label while I believe they are listed as 100% cotton. They fit very loose, I had read comments that they may be shrink-to-fit which is a shame. I'm not inclined to give these a hard wash or dry right away and end up prematurely fading them or lose any of the dye. Additionally the fabric on the thighs and knees feels thin, I started to see signs of distress after like a week of wearing.

Quality control needed
13 December 2021

Love the fit of these jeans, but the quality of them is very subpar. Twisted leg seam as well as seams coming unraveled. I’m not talking about loose thread ends, I’m talking about seams SPLITTING. These aren’t a tight fitting pit of jeans either so it’s not like I’m over-stressing them.Planned to wear these jeans for the holidays but given it can take up to 4 weeks for the replacement/exchange process and Levi’s requires the jeans to be shipped on my dime, I’m going to try my hand at repairing them myself. Very disheartening to see such a renowned company not taking care of their customers well. Wish they had a better defective clothing policy and/or better quality control. At this point I feel pretty ignored now that they’ve gotten their sale out of me.The only ... MoreLove the fit of these jeans, but the quality of them is very subpar.
