My brother convinced me levis were worth the price (got them on sale) and he was totally right. I got these and Column Women’s Jeans which I did end up returning. These jeans fit perfectly and I love the button fly. I’m 5’3”, 120 lbs, and have a small waist. When I measure where jeans usually hit, an inch or 2 below my waist, it’s 27”. The 26x30s were a little snug with a t-shirt tucked in but quickly molded to my body after 2 days. The fabric is good quality thicker denim and the length is perfect for sandals, ankle boots, and tennis shoes. The stone wash was a little grayer than pictured which is actually the color I prefer. I’ll be ordering another pair as soon as there’s another sale! I have my mom’s genuine Gap mom jeans from the 90s and these are the closest ... Great product that I’ve been wearing since I was a kid. However, it was a bit confusing with the traditional shrink-to-fits not clearly separated from the pre-shrunk variety. The store didn’t have my size in the preferred shrink-to-fit option, so I went with pre-shrunk pairs of the same measurements. These are a bit larger than I expected, especially in the length, but I had them taken in and they should work fine. Overall, a good purchase, but the store should make an effort to keep a full range of sizes in stock, and more clearly mark the categories.

I bought these with a gift card from a warranty exchange. The gift card made it were I paid $0.41 for the replacements. I found myself needing to exchange these for a different size as they run a little small, and when they didn't have the same color available I went for a refund and they are only willing to refund the $.041 not the amount of the gift card which was actually a coupon code. I contacted customer service and they won't do anything since they color I purchased are now sold out in my size. They weren't even willing to refund the actual amount from the gift card, just "sorry it has to be the same color". I emailed once and this was their reply, I responded to that email and they came back with the same scripted response even after I asked about another ... Bought 2 pairs of 501 at a Levi store in Dallas TX, 1 pair was missing a belt loop in the front. The store would not take them back and I was given a voucher to purchase online. I did that and the jeans from the online store were not the same. The denim from the online store was thinner and the tags were not the same. They were 501's but the quality is subpar. I have tried many times to write a 1 star review and it would not accept my review. Changed it to a 5 star review and it was accepted... I don't think that is a coincidence!!!!
Price was good.. The fit was very good. Fabric was top notch however the snap at your belly button was aluminum outside and also on the inside rivet. I expected all rivets to be the original copper on both sides. Why did you cheapen and add a cost reduction to my purchase . That was so lame to take away the original copper rivets--- cheap, cheap, cheap!! Should I post a picture on Facebook about Levis, cheap 505 jeans???? No copper now!!!!
Macy's is great! My concern is the fabric used currently for Levis jeans isn't as durable as it used to be. I have always prized Levis for their durability but they have been moving away from that in recent years. Their construction and fit remain good but the fabric is of lower quality that is vulnerable to splitting....I have three pairs that have opened up in the fabric, not along the seams (nor between the thighs), that I have never experienced before - along the outer hip, or in the crotch - and the fit for me is reasonable loose...not tight at all. The lighter weight denim is all I can distinguish from earlier versions.
Love these jeans. I own 5 pairs. Love the button fly. Easily the most iconic and timeless jeans of all time. My one request- Move the back pockets higher! This is a no-brainer. Other competing brands have done this and become insanely popular just because of the way the jeans fit on your butt. Higher pockets higher make the pants fit your butt better. Low pockets make your butt look non-existent. Bring those pockets up 2 inches and you'll sell out.

Unfortunately they are simply not the jeans they used to be, and certainly not anything I would recommend or buy again. The material itself is fine, but the inner seams are seriously unfinished, to the point of being uncomfortable on one pair. Worse, the hems are significantly thinner, both on the pant legs and at the top of the back pockets, allowing them to curl ridiculously. That's OK on the bottom hems, but in two of the three pairs I bought the back pockets are a joke. They certainly did not look that way when they arrived, but did after a single washing/drying. No amount of ironing will flatten them. Of course, having been washed, Levi's won't take them back - an expensive lesson ... I absolutely adore Levi’s jeans. That’s the only jeans brand I wear. You can’t go wrong with the classic Original 501 straight style. They are so comfortable and very durable. They look great even after so many washes. I can dress them up with balder or dress down with t-shirt, they go with everything and very high quality made. They have a great fit and true to the size. Love them!
