I purchased both these and the Low Pro. The 501 90s fit closer in the waist and hips than the Low Pro but are still baggy in the leg. I find them more comfortable on my thicker thighs and calves than the regular 501s. The denim is nice and stiff but will give and break in the more you wear them. I purchased the shade Drew Me In which is definitely a medium wash that will work year round and can be dressed up with a blazer or down with a hoodie. If you want them to fit like the model I recommend sizing up. I purchased the size I buy in regular 501s and Ribcage style - 32 - and the hip/seat will need some breaking in to loosen up. These are jeans you don't throw in the wash often. I know I'll have them for years to come.

Really wanted to like these jeans but the fly button made them feel high waisted instead of mid rise. I’ve been trying to avoid high waisted jeans bc I literally cannot force them to look flattering on me. The fly button on these…idk man. If I let the jeans relax, it gets all “bunched up” and baggy in the crotch. Super unflattering. But then I’ll try to hike the pants up which kinda help but then it looks kinda poofy in the front whenever I walk. I’m really sad bc I really wanted them to fit; I sized down like the reviews suggested but they still fit odd.

These jeans are amazing - my absolute favorite jeans I have ever owned in my whole life. They are so flattering because it's loose through the legs (but not so loose that it's disproportionate), the rise is perfect for someone with a shorter torso like myself (hits right at my belly button which is my preferred fit), fits just right and snug around my waist but loosens in a flattering way through the hips for a relaxed fit without looking frumpy. It'd be wonderful if Levi's came out with this style in more colors like black and a darker navy like Shout Out as we head into Fall. As a note always, I appreciate if they offered a 32 inseam for all sizes in all shades - I'm 5'4 and anything shorter than a 32 looks terrible on me and I don't even know what tall girls do!

So, so comfortable. The first truly 100% cotton jeans I've been able to find in a decade. They look like regular jeans while I'm wearing them but feel like comfortable clouds floating around my legs. I kidded my husband I wanted to wear them to bed instead of pajamas. Soft, thick, durable denim, really well made. Sizes in actual inches not weirdo women's vanity sizes (where I'm either an 8 or a 12, depending on manufacturer). The five button fly was a bit of a surprise, but it becomes easier and faster to fasten after the first few buttonings. My only quibble is the pockets are 50% shallower than those in my husband's jeans because for some reason women don't deserve pockets.
I used to wear similar jeans in the 90s, and it is amazing to find this style again. I see some review comments of people complaining how wide these jeans are, and that they should be "modernized." That's nonsense. They are the 90s grunge-style jeans (do not wash them for a few months, and they will be the "real" 90s jeans :D), and are for the people who like this style. Not everything has to be skinny and stretchy. Love them the way they are. I would recommend sizing down 1-2 sizes simply because cotton stretches, and they get loose with wear.
These are my absolute favourite jeans ever. I have them in many different washes. After the first purchases I found out I needed to size down as they they do stretch out a little bit. So after a year, I decided to rebuy the light wash jean in a size down as I first bought it in m true size. To my surprise the were not smaller than the ones I have, the fabric felt thinner, and I had to return them. I went to the store to try them on, and found the original version in the size down - perfection and exactly what I wanted in the first place. So I´ve done a little detective work - and I love the version of this jean made in 2021 and 2022 (this information is found on one of the tags inside the jean). Just received these the other day, and let me tell you. These fit so perfectly, the bagginess is just right. It's so much better than the Low Pro and '94 Baggy. Like those are nice but this has a structure that's chic? And if you're looking for that thrifted fit these are it! So I am definitely buying another pair(s). Buy it! What're you waiting for? lol
More inseam choices. No raw hems.No distressing. That’s gotten old.More jeans in light color choices.Levi’s will always be the only jeans I buy except for these issues.I am older and I like wearing age appropriate, nice looking jeans that are more versatile than rips and tears plus having to pay for alterations for shorter lengths. Not a fan of too long jeans dragging on the ground. I’m older and retired and wear mostly jeans and options are getting more limited for my age group. Just sayin’!
I always struggle to find jeans that fit my waist and bum! These do perfectly, flattering on the bum and no gap/looseness around the waistline.Would give 5 stars if they held the shape a bit better - after two wears they do go a little baggy on the knees but it’s not a huge problem as they return to their usual shape after washing.I’ll probably buy again in a few different colours!
I got my first pair of jeans in Year 7, and the only way my mother and sister were getting me to wear jeans was if they were 501’s. All the cool kids were wearing them. I am now 42, a mum of teens and bought 90’s 501’s. They are so comfortable, the denim is beautiful and soft, and they’re so flattering. Baggy, without being too baggy. Flattering on the backside, and I love that I can choose the length to suit me. The button fly/I still love it.
