I've been looking for a new pair of jean shorts that are well made and have a nice fit. Jean shorts by denim brands like Frame and Mother don't come close to the 501 high rise. Love the light fraying at the bottom and the wash isn't to dark. Fit is comfortable and there is just enough room at the top so that these lay nice against the body without being to tight. Highly recommend.

I recently got these ultra-low rise shorts for my 16-year-old daughter, and she's absolutely loving them. They're stylish, with a nice 2.5" inseam and a secure double button closure, and they really flatter her hourglass figure without showing too much skin. It makes me really happy to see her happy in them, especially knowing they're made with recycled cotton fiberādefinitely a win for her summer wardrobe! So much so I now have to scavenge for retro levis. Brings back so many memories and experiences when I was her age š«¢ where did that time go ? I KNOW! She will have much fun in hers as I did š

Bought them a few days ago, for reference Iām around 61kg, 22 year old female with 26inch hips and slight curves but Iām slim and 5 foot 6 in height. Arrived quickly but couldnāt do up the buttons, they could barely pass my bum there was no chance. If you have even a little bit of a bum with slight curves even as a slim woman, donāt stay true to size, size up. By at least one size but Iād recommend 2. Only stay true to size if youāre not curvy in the slightest. Otherwise, the shorts themselves look good, exactly like the pictures - I bought the ojai luxor heat, colour and design was the same. Seeing them in person, theyāre a bit too light so Iāll be going for a darker colour and larger size next time. I'm not a huge fan of denim shorts - have yet to find the perfect pair, so I decided to try these 501s since I wear 501 straight leg jeans. I have an athletic build, 5'2"/ 130lbs and ordered a 27 and a 28. The 27 fit like a glove, but since I have thick thighs I didn't like how tight it felt around my thighs. I could have kept the 27, but didn't want to be constantly pulling them down. When I tried the 28s, there was a pretty big difference between the two sizes. I swear the 27 felt like a 26 and the 28 felt like a 29! If I had a little more hip/thigh room, the 27 would be the perfect fit. The 27 fit nicely in the waist, with a little bit of room too, and of course my derriere looked fantastic! But, I decided to go with the 28 to be more comfortable, a looser fit. To be fair, I donāt really think itās that the waist of measured wrong, I think the fit is whatās really making the hide difference. trying to navigate āhigh waistedā jeans has been close to impossible. It's a great mid-town neutral blue with sort of an almost acid and antiqued wash. It's sort of a lighter wash/version of "The Future Is Now." It's a perfect casual denim short that can be worn with just about anything. And, it can even be dressed-up with heels fand a leather jacket for a night out. These are completely unflattering. I have other Leviās shorts that look great, but these flare out in the bum and leg area. They make it look like I have no butt. I ordered my usually size 23. I am 5ā2ā around 100lbs for reference. These were also a completely different color than the photo. I got the Oxnard Athens - Medium Wash. They are actually closer to a dark wash. Will be returning!
Beware. Shorts run large. I bought size 27 because that is my actual waist size but I measured them and they are actually a size 28. Sadly I will have to return them. Quality, rigid, 100% cotton denim with a button fly, which I prefer. I thought maybe these were shrink to fit but they are not. The raw hem on a few of these styles seems a little overdone to the point where they don't look like they will last very long. Just a conjecture. Will purchase again in a smaller size. Hopefully I can return these bc they are very expensive!
Iāve purchased many Leviās jeans and shorts and they used to be great quality. I wore these once and the thigh ripped within 2 hours. I wasnāt doing anything crazy in them, going shopping, sitting down at a restaurant and walking around. The thigh started to rip and continued to rip until it was through the jean material to the part that was intentionally ripped, and the hole was massive. I canāt wear these out now, and customer serviceās only solution was to exchange them. I donāt want to get another pair and have them potentially rip too? Not happy with the quality Leviās has become.
