I get seasonal allergies in both the spring and fall. This year has been really bad. I was at my wits end, not being able to sleep ,breath, focus, etc. I was taking allergy pills, nose spray, and eye drops, as often as I could. We bought 2 of these one for downstairs and one for upstairs. They have helped dramatically, I am serious! In an hour I could breath again. In 2, my eyes stopped watering and itching and my nose quit running. I am not sure how I never knew about these but man I'm glad I do now. I don't even need my allergy meds with these in the house.

We felt like we noticed a difference in the air quality within a day or two.It wasn't too difficult to set up the app and connect to the air purifier. I had some issues with not being able to update my air purfier's firmware for about a week. I eventually tried again and it finally went through. I like being able to turn the purifier on or off through my phone and also able to change the speed. I thought there may be a few more features, like telling you information about the air in your room's quality. One of the main reasons I purchased this item is to help reduce the amount of dust in the house. I am still seeing a layer of dust on the desk and bedroom furniture. While cooking in the kitchen it eliminates the food odors well. My children say they notice better respiratory activity and less sneezing. I will pay a little more attention to my wife sleeping but I think she is snoring a little less. I don't know if it's due to the Levoit or something else. The set up and operation of the Levoit 200S is very easy. I have not changed the filter yet but I don't anticipate it being a challenge. The units run mainly throughout the night and off during the day. This is amazing. I recently found out that I have seasonal allergies, and after getting this, it has helped me breathe a lot better. The app works fantastic. It tells you about the pollen count and what types of pollen might be out and around you at that time. It also keeps you indicated at the functionality percentage of the air purifier. I’ve had it for about a month now and it’s gone down about 10%. the nice thing is is that you can buy inserts to help change it out. It also comes with many different settings, you can turn on a light, you can do night mode, high medium low. It’s great. it has truly been a lifesaver.

I do like that I can turn the fan up when something atrocious happens, without having to get up.... when that works. The problem is that the purifier seems to reset itself periodically and need to be re-added to the app. There is no pattern to when this happens, it just suddenly doesn't respond. Additionally, the filter monitor seems to be based purely on time (not sensing airflow). I have gotten a message several times from the app that I have changed my filter, and the filter life is reset to 100%. I have never replaced the filter. By the time my husband came home a little over an hour later, he said he could already feel a difference in the lightness of the air. I didn’t want my expectations to be so high and experience a placebo effect of believing the air quality was better when really it wasn’t, until last night which was the first night I had them running, and surprisingly every breath I took was a full breath, when before only a handful of breaths were deep and satisfying, which is beyond frustrating especially when you’re pregnant. I 100% feel a huge difference and I’m so happy that our air quality is as good as it is now before being a newborn into the environment.Also, some people were complaining about the noise the fan makes. I actually really like the white noise it makes, and it’s not too loud at all. You can hear it, sure. But it’s not overwhelming, at least for me.I wish I could put this as 5 stars but like I said I rarely read the good reviews because I don’t trust them, and there’s enough 5 star reviews already. Hopefully this helps someone because these units have really helped me.
We've always just relied on the filter in our furnace that circulates air hourly to filter the air in our home. This last year I was so over the constant dust that no matter what I did, it was back before I could blink. I decided to try a smaller but same-brand purifier and loved it. I couldn't believe how quickly I noticed a difference in the air quality. That smaller one is currently in my daughter's room. This one and an identical one are in my living room and master bedroom. I love that I can set schedules and turn them on/off/up/down from my phone and/or Alexa devices!
I bought this for my son who suffers from tons of allergies. He’s always struggled with a stuffy nose as soon he goes to bed. I bought this because I read such great reviews about the brand. We keep it on high 24/7 in his room, we have already replaced the filter two times. When I tell you it is like night and day the way he sleeps at night, I mean it! This collects so much dust! I make sure to vacuum the filter every two weeks in between replacements. It also has an app that notifies me of when the filter needs to be replaced. This was 100% worth the money.
we have 4 cats and a dog and smoke. this thing is a must, especially in the winter months! Just having this thing is like having a housekeeper! since purchasing, not only is the quality of air better, but the amount of dust and hair accumulation is manageable. My house doesn't have any odor. The only downside is static electricity. I make my own potpourri on the stove, and this helps, but i have to be careful with humidity so the filter doesn't mold. I run it 24/7, and clean it once a week or every other week. I'm expecting to have to replace filter in March though supposed to last for 6 months, because I run it constantly. It's sooooo worth it!
i was shocked to find a HEPA purifier in my price range. i didnt expect much. but this little thing is thoroughly cleaning the air in our 2 bedroom apartment. i alternate rooms and have it in each room for a day or two and thrn rotate to another room. i have severe allergies and this has greatly improved my health! filters are only around $20 and every 6 months thats quite a steal. i can tell from the filter turning brown and less pleghm in my chest that it is helping. also i read that it helps with mold, which anyone in the pnw needs. so glad that hepa Filters are now affordable for us in a lower income bracket!!
