I have used USB flash drives for years to make backup copies of business and personal documents, personal music and photos, etc. Over the years I have used many brands, some of which have had problems, but I have never had any defects in a Lexar USB drive, so now that is all I use. These 32 GB drives work well and quickly. I like using USB 2 drives instead of USB 3 because they are ready to work as soon as you plug them in, while USB 3 drives take time to initialize. I recommend these drives, but I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 since all my previous Lexar flash drives have had a built in light that flashes when data is being transferred, giving you some visual confirmation that it is working and showing when it is finished. Both of these went bad within four months of purchase. The worst flash drives I have ever purchased. I have never had one go bad, much less two. Using on the same computers as all other drives and these two are the only ones giving issues. Reformatted hoping that would work but it didn't on either one. Would never buy this brand again!

Purchased these for work. Documents, photos, etc. Used one for about 4 months, until one day I plugged it into my MacBook and it wouldn't even pop up that it was plugged in. Tried to plug it into the printer, nothing could be printed. Plugged it back into the laptop, 90% of folders and documents are gone. The remaining are locked into "read-only" mode. Cannot erase, cannot add anything else onto flash drive. Its now pretty much useless. Used the other flash drive in the 2 pack. About the same time frame, 4-5 months later, same thing happens again. Disappointing,

I use a lot of USB thumb drives in my personal and business life. Speed of writing data to the drive is less important to me than durability and data integrity. These drives perform beautifully. I will definitely be buying them again!
I was in the middle of a project and didn't want to wait. I probably would have been better off with USB 3.x rather than 2.0 which are sort of passe. And they probably should have been a bit cheaper as 2.0's are pretty much irrelevant given 3.0's are backward compatible and a lot faster. It was convenient to be able to get something that worked to create an installer without having to order online or wait for shipping.
I purchased the Lexar®JumpDriveR S60 USB 2.0 Flash Drive 2-pack to make lessons plans available for a colleague. The jump drive is easy to use and stores multiple files, including photos, powerpoints, and graphics. I loved the bonus of a second jump drive to have on hand for a future project.
I never before used any product from Lexar especially USB flash drives. Majority time I bought flash drive it was from SanDisk, PNY or onn, 2.0 or 3.0 and most of the time were 64 GB to 128 GB. Last time I got 32 GB it was at least 10 years ago because it seems that file and pictures got better resolution which means more space they take. As with any USB flash drive Lexar 2.0 does not require any installation to be used, just plug in and transfer files: music, videos, pictures, word pad, spreadsheets, PDF or anything else. It can be used with PC and Mac operating system. Manufacture did not stated specific speed of transfer but it seems typical for 2.0. It comes in package of 2 Lexar Jumpdrive S60 USB Flash drive each with 32GB. First thought before I opened Lexar ... MoreI never before used any product from Lexar especially USB flash drives. It comes in package of 2 Lexar Jumpdrive S60 USB Flash drive each with 32GB. First thought before I opened Lexar that these flash drives have cap on but it actually operates on principle of syringe in order to push out and retracting back in USB. Overall it seems standard as any other flash drive which is good thing.
The twin pack of Lexar 32 gig jump drives are fairly standard. A decent value. Comes in classic colors. Love that they have a textured 'grip' area which makes inserting & removing them easier. When tested our systems shows the transfer speed to be on pare with an average of 3.3MB per seconds up to 4MB per second. Transfers smoothly with no evident loss of information. All in all, I'd recommend these. They only thing I'd change is I'd add a way to close the end of the connector plug on the jump driver so dust or nothing couldn't get in it.
I briefly tried these when purchased, just using Windows Property window and they appeared to have the expected storage. Didn't actually try to use one until this week and it completely failed after writing a file to it. Will not even show up as a USB drive on my computer. The other unit from the two-pack seems to work OK, but a 50% failure rate in a couple months is not acceptable. I will be returning these as defective.
I purchased a pack of 5 Lexar Flash Drives, each 32GB.Last week, I used the first one to store my documents, it was very good. Today I just used the new second one but couldn't transfer documents, a warning appeared: "Not enough space on LEXAR. You need to add...." (see picture). I was surprised to learn that this flash drive only has a capacity of 60 Mb, instead of 32GB as advertised. (what can you do with 60MB these days?).So I immediately checked the remaining 3 new flash drives, one of which also only had a capacity of 63.6MB. The remaining two, the properties say the capacity is 32GB but I haven't tried them yet.2-year limited manufacturer's warranty. But what should I do now? Throw it all away?
