This little gizmo is great. It is pretty fast reading and writing, and also runs very cool, much cooler than other big brand name ones that I've been using, which is a good thing. It can be left plugged into my laptop when I pack it away in the bag, so no chance of going out without it.

The older version, JumpDrive S45, was superior. Not only did it have a cover/cap to keep dust out, but it had a base with a light so you knew if it connected.I wrote to Lexar and the reply claimed they wanted to make a more economical option.I used to think Lexar were the best, not any more.
There is an internal ledge that keeps the USB connector from sliding out from the casing. I couldn't get it out, but my wife was able to get it out with her long fingernails. Now I only partially retract the connection so it won't get hung up on the internal ledge.
An excellent LOW profile USB drive. Perfect for applications that require a drive to remain installed on a product. It's the major reason why I chose it over other ones, but I was also impressed by the reviews of others regarding performance.
Excellent storage density, however the security software is very weak, the 128 bit AES was cracked or never secure for at least 15 years. Don't think for a moment the generic weak code will stop or even slow down a guberment attack. My first serious USB 3.x drive. I now use Linux so had to find something as consistent as Crystal Disk Mark for testing. F3 I know too well. That's `dd` dusted. I settled on `fio` and `hdparm`. On all configurations of `fio` writing was consistently 40MB/s. Reading was 150MB/s. Drive is small, cool, reliable. Delivery was 7 days.
An excellent versatile USB. I use as a boot device running a portable Linux Dostro for when Windows tools arent quite enough.
I bought this to store all my music so I could play it on the go, in the car on on my home entertainment system. It works great!! I play all my files(189GB) on shuffle and have no problem moving from one track to the rest. It will also play all my FLAC files through my Marantz home audio. Love it!!
