I have been trying to get a refund on this machine for 6 months now. The machine has ruined clothes, sheets everything. It leaves big black marks over everything and “sludge” on my white sheets EVEN AFTER CLEANING THE USELESS THING! Then the machine either ruins your clothes and puts massive holes in towels if you wash on a normal cycle or if you wash it on gentle it doesn’t clean it at all. I hate it! Unfortunately given the current times I can’t just go buy a new machine so I’m stuck with this useless junk. Would give it 0 stars if I could

This is the best washing machine I have owned. Washes quilts, blankets and doonas like a dream, they are virtually half dried when I hang them out. Quick washes do my singular items like a towel and/or a few light clothes quickly and efficiently, usually within 25 minutes. Cotton wash and sports wash all good, I can't find anything to complain about but I did have to do some searching looking for the filter and sure enough, there IS two lint filters at the back of the machine, one for hot and cold water, they are very small, you need small pliers though to take them out. The machine is such that it will do a great many washes though before there is anything to clear from them. I just purchased my LG 10KG washing machine 2 days ago. I have done serveral loads of washing that went well but as soon as i put a load of towels for the wash well during the spin cycle the machine went completely out of balance and it just about moved out of my laundry door. My previous machine was also an LG 8.5KG never had a problem with the out of balance while in spin especially washing towels. I am very very disapointed that a 10KG washing machine should be more than capable in handling heavy items such as towels. I am seriously reconsidering returning the machine back if this problem continues to happen. I have read other peoples reviews and was not impressed to know that they also are having the same problems.

I replaced my old lg 8.5kg with this one as I needed a bigger machine. So I expected good quality. I got more than I expected. Works really well. Clothes are being washed better now they have more space. Ive been able to fit bedding in easily cutting the number of loads Ive needed to do. The options for programs are excellent for different things. I havent used the self cleaning function. I downloaded the app and set the machine up to use the WiFi at home which I though was a joke at first. Now I like it. We had a tap issue and the app could tell me why it wasnt washing properly. The extra downloadable cycle is great I can see some of them being used at different times. Only thing is I there doesnt seem to be a lint trap anywhere on this one so that makes me wonder.
Idea of having buttons at the front of the machine for easy access. Reality is it's difficult to lean it to grab clothes out. I'm not short by any means but it's a stretch to get down to the bottom of the machine. And often I'll set off buttons by accident when doing so. Idea of auto sensing load size. Reality is this feature doesn't work and we have to select size every load. Does wash well 9 times out of 10 and can fit heaps in but had one weird cycle when it failed to rinse and spin the clothes completely but said it had finished the load.

I havent found the ideal wash cycle yet, and would appreciate a call back from LG. the cotton cycles leave the clothes wet but wrinkled and many need ironing to get out. there is a delicate cycle that leaves the clothes very wet needing a lot of drying which i do on a clothes line. I tried to use that with a higher spin cycle but it wont let you adjust. the other cycles still leave the clothes with wrinkles, but maybe theres a way to pick the best all round cycle and then adjust the other cycles. the book is inadequate for the complexity. There is no agitator, so the clothes just gently move around (Just). It never fills with enough water (Ever). If our clothes go in with a mark or stain they are garranteed to come out with the same mark or stain. We are pre washing/ socking everything to ensure it has a chance of being washed. This replaces a Simpson we have had for 23yrs and does not wash our cloths as well as the 23yr old machine did. Very disappointed, wish I never bought it.

I’ve honestly had enough!! I bought this to wash doonas, mattress toppers etc… I can’t even get it to do ONE MATTRESS TOPPER (dbl) without it becoming uneven. …I’m on my 5th attempt to spin it!!! Last night during the initial wash (1 topper and 1 quilt cover!!) it was jumping around so much that the hose came out of the sink and flooded the laundry!!! LUCKY my laundry is outside and no damage to my home!!! I took the soaking wet quilt cover out and it’s still throwing the UE error!!
I have had this washing machine for over a year now. Unfortunately life is busy- otherwise I would have gotten rid of this washer a long time ago. I contacted customer service via their app regarding clothes coming out dirtier than when I put them in, covered with lint and hair. No response came back. I am 160cm and can not reach the bottom of the machine without tip-toes or lifting my feet off the ground. Yes it can take a large load of washing, but the cycles are long (an hour) even for the 'quick wash' feature unless you want your clothes to come out dripping wet. 1 star for the fact that it turns on and looks good. If you have this washing machine, be prepared have lint as your new fashion accessory.
