Excellent IPS Panel with great colour reproduction, nice aesthetics and a very responsive and smooth feel at 160 Hz. The monitor exhibits no signs of ghosting and there is no noticeable colour variation across the regions at least when observing with the eye. I upgraded from an Acer X34p due to a warranty claim on the Acer monitor and this has been a nice improvement. The colour quality is very similar, but the increase in refresh rate is a noticeable and appreciated improvement over 120 Hz.The only cons when comparing to the Acer monitor are the lack of rotational freedom from the monitor stand and the lack of speakers. Both are minor quality of life features that are seldom used and can be rectified by buying a monitor arm and speakers.

Best midrange Ultrawide as of 2024

This midrange IPS monitor is fantastic for the money! IPS displays have better viewing angles than VA panels, and the color throughout the entire panel appears nice and even. There's very minimal backlight bleed. I did take a step down in maximum framerates from my previous 27" HP Omen 165hz monitor, but the drop to 144hz is not very noticeable at all. Yes, this one can overclock to 160hz, but at the cost of dropping from 10-bit color to 8... not a tradeoff I'm willing to make. I'll take the much smoother looking colors with no banding at its factory 144hz setting.Even though I'm an OLED TV snob, I am completely happy with this LG, especially for the price I paid compared to all OLED monitors. I won't even look at OLED monitors until the color fringing issue is resolved, which is too bad because the OLED TV's are absolutely stunning.Keep in mind that this LG gaming monitor is basically the same as the 34GP83A model by LG, but that one costs about a hundred more. Buy this version and save some money! Check rtings reviews for each and see for yourself how they are pretty much identical from a display standpoint.Even in 2024, this LG monitor is probably the best ultrawide monitor purchase you can make for both games and work without getting close to $1000 monitor territory. I highly recommend it!

Do not buy for gaming purposes.

This monitor is not made for PC/XBOX/PS5 games. Consoles (HDMI) will only run at 60Mhz/60FPS with a HORRIBLE stretched image that is hard to overlook. PC (DISPLAY PORT) games run at 144Mhz/FPS also stretched. Netflix, youtube everything web base also will not run in fullscreen. AVOID 21:9 monitors at all cost for games or movies. Ultrawides are a gimmick IMO

Well worth the money for this monitor. Love the curved screen for gaming and/or regular computer duties. The 34" size is perfect for all types of computing.Having G-Sync compatibility at such a nice price was exceptional (works extremely well with my NVIDEA RTX 4070 ti graphics card.Easy to set-up. Would recommend that you go to LG.com and download the user manual to get the full benefit of this monitor.Adjusts up/down. Tilts forward and back, and tilts a little bit on the sides (for uneven surfaces).

Flickers in game and Some in Black Screens

SO I have the Ultragear 32" Monitor and love it. SO I decided to get this version so my son can use the other one. Delivery was 1 day ground which was fast, setup was easy. I use these for PS% and XBOX X. Now boot up ( PS5 ) was fine but the screen looked slightly zoomed in, font was big. Messed around with the PS5 res and i think it was some what better. Ok so I boot up a game and it black screen to start.. I notice on the top 15% of the screen is soft white flickering across the top. ( It only does this with certain games ) and then while in game I'll see black lined flickering on the screen.I reas that it was most likly the Premium VSYNC. Great all rounder that is worth the extra $$

This monitor is a great all-rounder.I came from a Samsung CRG90 49" I found 49" was just a little too large for what I was working on and missed having multiple monitors.34" seems to be the sweet spot of real estate for windows and good resolution for games without losing too much depth.My unit did come with a single stuck pixel, only presenting on black images.I ran a pixelrepair for several hours with no luck. Phenomenal Monitor, when it works!

LG is one of the best monitor manufacturer's in the world, and this monitor is one of the highest rated ultrawide 1440P gaming monitors on the market. When I first received it, it delivered on everything. Great and vibrant colors, great contrast (for IPS), excellent response times and good viewing angles.However, the two monitors I had ran into serious issues. Very happy to find this monitor

Upgrade to this from the 1080p version I've had for 5 years. Very satisfied with this upgrade.I've been looking at Alienware oled and the new LG oleds. I don't like the glossy surface of Alienware because it reflect even the tiniest little light and turns the screen into a mirror. The new LG oled's 800R curve is way too much. Thus, this was the best upgrade for me.
