Otherwise it's great, plenty of space, cheap to run and looks good. I had the doors reversed as well for $120 including delivery.

My 24 year old 420 litre Westinghouse refrigerator was still going strong but I was increasingly anxious that one day it would die and I would be left with a fridge/freezer full of food and needing to purchase a new fridge at short notice. A stressful situation. Choice magazine recommended this LG model and I read many reviews. I have been very happy with my LG front loading washing machine so when I saw Good Guys advertising this fridge for sale at only $1,068 I bought it! I'm very happy I made this decision. Love the bottom mount freezer and the space available in both fridge and freezer is great for 2 people. The fridge runs very quietly and functions perfectly. Hope it lasts as long as my old Westinghouse!

I think this should be highlighted. Also we had slight damage on a shelf latch (not major) but Id say the glass shelving would do great with more reinforcement to hold more weight. I thought this might be smaller than my previous fridge but the space is well designed to hold plenty. I like the one tray at the bottom for fruit and veg. The door shelving for the jars and bottles are just enough to hold everything including 2 large 3L milks. If the shelves could have more spacing options that could be handy for larger items (ie bottles) as any tall items have to fit in the door shelving. The freezer is much bigger than I had before and I am getting used to the drawers which enable stacking them full of items. Overall, it is so quiet and energy efficient. I am really happy.
This fridge has a weird config for eggs ( with a holder for 10 not 12?). The door also is set in its height for shelves. That said, it is spacious inside and a few fridge containers and 'lazy susan' really increased its internal design. The freezer is excellent in its drawer design for access and storage.The delivery was on time as promised but the major issue with this fridge was the additional 10% cost Bing Lee charged to swap the door over and the wait for that to happen( close to a week). it is still a mystery as to why this could not have been done prior to despatch or on delivery.

From confirming the delivery date, to agreeing to pick up my old refrigerator, to bringing it up to my apartment, very professional. They recommend letting the refrigerator stand still for an hour before turning it on so the compressor has had time to settle down. They also told me to remove any stickers and plastics from the outside and inside, which took me about an hour. I left the sticker that covers the five star rating.The matte black looks amazing. The refrigerator itself is very quiet. When plugged in initially, there was a slight bit of humming noise, but even that went away over time. In this area the LG has excelled in its promise. I've calculated the fridge will pay for itself in about five years by the savings in electricity when directly compare to my old fridge and separate chest freezer, which this fridge replaced.The overall finish of the LG is excellent. All the doors and draws work as expected and the handles feel strong. It does seem as though a lot of thought has gone into the interior design, for example the shelves have only a couple of positional options, as opposed to many, but this is more than adequate. The shelves are glass, user friendly and easy to keep clean; they also contain any spills or mess to their respective shelf and are a much better idea than wire racks! The doors can be mounted left or right and although the door shelves are non-adjustable they are utilitarian and practical by design.The total capacity is more than enough for myself, plus one other person if needed, making it suitable for a couple or possibly a small family. My needs meant the LG's freezer replaced a stand-alone chest freezer. The LG's freezer is roughly the same size as the old chest freezer but the inclusion of draws makes accessing frozen items much easier, compared to the chest freezer that tended to make retrieval of items at the bottom awkward.The last thing that sold me on the LG is its 10 year warranty on the compressor. It's common knowledge that most 'white goods' these days have a planned redundancy built-in, which often only becomes evident not long after the factory warranty expires. The LG's 10 year warranty, and its quiet running, offer peace of mind which afford me a good night's sleep.I think this fridge is worthy of a 5 star rating and I recommend it highly!Darren W
As usual great service from AO. Within 24hours of old fridge breaking down (3pm Monday), new fridge was delivered, installed and old fridge and packaging removed (11am Tuesday). Davil was friendly, professional and followed all covid guidelines. Very competitive prices and great variety of fridges.LG Fridge has been excellent. Although same size overall as old fridge. It has so much more space internally. Use of shelves and draws opimises space. the design makes it easy to access fridge contents. It is well lit, making it easy to see contents even those at the back. It runs very efficently and is so quiet. All areas are kept equally cold or chilled. Highly recommend LG and this model.
very disappointed that the doors could not be re-assigned to RIGHT TO LEFT opening prior to delivery. I was not able to reassign them myself as l have severe mobility issues - fortunately l do have a secondary fridge....and needed to wait until my son was able to visit from Lismore....which meant a 2 week wait...... took him about 10 minutes once he arrived! He worked for Chandlers for nearly 10 years and they always reassigned doors before delivery. Apart from that, the product is fantastic lighting in the refrigerator section is brilliant....shame there isn't lighting in the freezer! It is more spacious than it appears to be. I am concerned that the glass shelving is considerably thinner than both my other fridges and may not take the weight as successfully.
I haven't used any of the 'features' of this fridge other than to plug it in and switch it on. It keeps my food cold. Best thing is not having to bend down to get the milk. Makes a funny noise ever now and then. Not really loud or annoying, just noticeable. Possibly due to the condenser settling Spoken to others who also have LG fridges and it seems common to most models. Freezer drawers are great. Overall a well laid out fridge section.
