Good Fridgie for the price. Has a UV light on the water. Crisper draws need to have their handle located on the top of the drawers so you don’t have to bend down as far. Water needs hose to circulate through the refrigeration unit. This is a common problem associated to all manufacturers. When one of the get it right, buy it. LG have improved over the past 10 years. Previously I have had an LG and Maytag 10 years, the quality sold me on the new fridge after comparing with Westinghouse, FP and Samsung. Didn’t like the door closers on the other fridges.

This is a fabulous fridge! Looks amazing in the kitchen as it’s so sleek and modern looking. Knock on the door and it will light up so you can see exactly what is inside and where it is. We love the hatch so we can easily and quickly grab milk, butter, condiments etc without opening the whole door. Inside it has clean modern lines and a place for everything. The ice maker is efficient and the craft ice?!!? Wow, we love that feature so much, our drinks parties just went up a whole new level! Overall we are thrilled with this purchase. I put in a lot of effort to research to find the right fridge for our family and this ticked every box plus more!

Unfortunately our fridge stopped getting cold or freezing after 2 years, 3 months. 3 month out of warranty. LG are a nightmare to deal with, and after 2 months we still haven't been able to have the fridge replaced under the extended warranty. JB team have been amazing, LG horrid. Avoid this fridge as its not worth the drama.

This is a great entertainer fridge and for everyday use. The side window drink door is such a good idea for quick drink access. Also, there are different ice making modes to choose from to suit your individual needs. The freezer is easy to access and store frozen food. Much better than the pull out draws as you don't have to go digging around to find an item. Better yet, the double knock on the side drink door lets you see what you wanna choose before having to open the fridge, cutting down on energy waste. Food and drink items are chilled very fast.
Wonderful and fancy fridge. Gets lots of praise from visitors. The see-through display allows for quick and easy access to drinks. Ability to make both normal and craft Ice is a bonus. Enjoy your whisky on the rocks properly. Was easy to setup and painless to use. Fridge and freezer space is plenty for a couple even can suit a family of 3-4.
We replaced our Samsung side by side ff after 15 years with this LG model and regret the purchase majorly. The fridge is on a terrible lean backwards which means it doesnt actually fit the space we have even though the measurements indicated it would. Because of the lean, the viewing door slams shut and rattles anything in the shelves. We had Harvey Norman service tech out as we thought perhaps the feet were damaged and have been told that this fridge is made with a 6 - 16mm lean! This very important fact is not mentioned anywhere (the shop rep didn't disclose it, the manual doesn't say this nor does the website). We were told to raise up the back on a piece of wood to make it level which is absolutely ridiculous. There’s only half a glass of cold water, the ice and water goes everywhere and LG actually are aware of this as in the pack it tells you that???? Wish I knew before I bought it as it makes a mess. The cylindrical ice is great but takes ages and the container that it falls in is not sealed so gets that freezer taste and smell. Lastly it’s a bit cheap inside, the plastic and covers eg in the glass lids for drawers keep sliding back keeping them open.
Really happy with our new fridge. Not for the fact that it’s all shiny and new but just the space it has inside. Can surprisingly fit more and everything looks more organised (house of for with two kids that enjoy a lot of snacks) best feature for me is the craft ice. Goes well with any drink to be honest. Even better the fridge is stylish and a very modern design. If your looking for a new fridge this is definitely one to look at, oh and stay away from Samsung fridges.
I am extremely happy with my fridge changing from a 576lt single door fridge. We bought this as we will be installing a new kitchen soon, and preferred to have a water and ice section to save going into our dining room all the time. We don't have the water connected at the moment, however, we still fill the ice container manually, and it is a nice big one, which is proving very useful. Can't wait to have it properly installed in our new home
We’ve had this a few weeks now, seems strangely odd that you can’t adjust any shelves. It dispenses room temp water (14C) as reservoir is positioned adjacent the internal fridge heater which seems to always be on. Its also built on a huge unadjustable lean backwards; so with 6” wide door full of drinks is released from only par open position, you nearly loose your beers and the door slams shut unless you catch it.
