I had the smaller version of this machine of which I was happy with too. When it died I got a front loader. I am in my sixties and found bending down and unloading the machine was difficult. It worked perfectly but decided to go back to a top loader. Researched extensively but still came back to the LG. I have a lot more control over the wash, it is very quiet and the lint catchers are great. I like the fact you can press pause to add more clothes or detergent.

Ive had this machine for 2 weeks and am absolutely loving it. Was uncertain about the how well it would wash with no agitater coming up the middle of the drum. As Ive never had one without before. But its cleaning abilities are great. Also really like the fact that it sings a tune to me at the end of each wash, but then turns off. Whereas my last machine would continue to beep at you periodically. Which continues to use power. I havnt used all the features yet but am sure that it will continue to be great.

Get a step ladder for the short people in life, it is toward the bottom of the washing chamber. Try not to push them in.I use cheap budget no-name brand liquid detergent and fabric softener. You can use powder.No problems since I've had this washer. Buy this one. It's big enough for any size living.
So going from always having a front loader to having our first top loader I didnt know what to expect. The lg has performed perfectly. I am finding the washing is quicker, having a larger capacity is amazing for a family of 5 (2 adults & 3 children) and the variety of different programs is easy to use. I love that you can soak clothes before wash cycles, comes handy with messy children and a farmers dirt covered clothing. The only down I can say about the machine is the filters where the lint goe,. I find they have to be cleaned every wash or I will have lint all over my next load. It just becomes another chore but other than that the machine is well worth the purchase
Working fine. Large drum capacity. Compare to front loader, we cannot set the hot temperatures and it manually get the temperature of the hot water tap temperature. Clothes are not drying well compared to the front loaders. But nothing to complain as it not a product fault I think that's how they designed. It is a design issue. Overall, I am happy with this so far.
Family moved in just after my new washing machine was installed. Three extra bodies including a baby. Loads of washing every day. My washer has coped magnificently with the big loads. An inspiring run-in period. Spin cycle ensures the clothes are drier than my old machine. This machine is superior to any previous machines I have owned.

I boughtit to replace a Panasonic, with which I was very happy until it died, and althought this machine was cheaper, I think it does just as good a job! It is very quiet in operation, and I believe the clothes come out slightly drier after the spin cycle than they did with the previous machine. Some of the reviews complain about the automatic water level system but I found that the machine registers that the water level drops a little when the clothes absorb the water and happily tops itself up when needed. It is hard for some to trust a machine but this one is worthy of that trust. It is very simple to program and easy to use. I am very happy with this purchase
Really efficient at delivering a superior clean as compared with my previous washing machine. Longer washing time, but clothes feel soft & clean. Multiple washing options. Inside drum looks like a front loader, and staff explained this is the most gentle way of washing clothes. Staff at Mile End helpful, and when we had a hiccup with delivery, sorted it out promptly. Installation crew efficient and polite. Would highly recommend this washing machine Overall a great experience.
