I am writing this review as my husband and I have recently bought this wonderful LG 77" television after contemplating doing so for the past four years, and doing much research until we were happy with our choice, eventually making this very happy purchase. We have not been disappointed.The television has met all our expectations and more. The colors are amazing and the operation of the television, and its magic remote, simple and caused us much enjoyment in the two weeks we have had it.We are both mid seventies in age and replaced an 18 year old Hitachi Plasma 55" television which had (five speakers & woofer) surround sound, set top box, and DVD/Recorder connected. We have truly not been disappointed at our decision to do so with the LG 77-inch G3 4K OLED evo Ai ThinQ Smart TV.We bought a new Amp and PVR/Blue Ray DVD machine as we needed HDMI on these two ancillary machines to work with our new Smart TV.We had our LG television professionally installed and connected to our surround sound system and the result is awe inspiring. The first video we watched was "Top Gun-Maverick" and it met all our expectations and more.I will attach a photo which I took when the Antique Show was just starting and it shows just what an amazing picture was taken in an instant quick shot. The furniture the television sits on was custom made (and reinforced) for us 18 years ago to accommodate our old TV which weighed over 90 plus kilos. The LG machine is so light in comparison and stays cooler and can be viewed from all corners of the room with little or no distortion. Perfect viewing, perfect television.I can only say that we are both thrilled with our purchase and are in no doubt why Disney Studios have bought all LG's for their future needs. The fact that they have made this decision due to LG colors represent perfection when viewing Disney product is confirmed to us in every way. I cannot agree more with their decision.Our television is amazing and I can't speak highly enough of it.

By far the best picture quality of any TV in the market. SDR content looks great. 4k UHD discs look fantastic. The blacks are infinite when watching HDR content.

Love the TV! Have been watching for about a week and it sure has the WOW factor. Only complaint is LG was supposed to send me a free stand for the TV and the website will not complete the transaction. LG support is little help and pointing the finger a everyone else instead of sending me the stand. Otherwise it would have been five stars.

Thought this would of had the same optical features as my old 77c8. It doesn't, if you use the HDMI-ARC, the tv knows it and disconnects optical. NOT good. My wife likes low sound, I like Hi Fidelity. So I need headphones to hear the highs.
Several issues with blurry pictures. Also optical output has dropouts unless I select optical + internal speakers. Brightness not same as smaller G3 models-why?
Great T.V. Except for the wall mount which is included and THE ONLY one available to hang on wall. Poor design because of the fact it will only pick up one wall stud 16 inches on center. The 83 inch television weighs 90 pounds and the light weight plastic anchors they give are NOT sufficient to hold the tv. It took me some time to figure out the best approach and hardware to use to secure the tv without compromising my plaster wall. A call to customer service was fruitless and frustrating as the person had no solution or guidance to give. That being said the tv looks awesome on my wall and the picture is truly amazing! But be aware if you want to hang on wall you have some research and extra work to do to secure it.
I assumed I was buying the best TV made. However, experience is showing a few annoying things. The usability relative to default Home Screen choices should be clearly and consistently user programmable. I had to change the optical out to optical out + TV speaker to prevent dropouts. But, most concerning is the blurry image issue. I have turned off the power saver and tried standard and vivid picture settings. Still we have occasional blur ones which seems to be more than up scaling delays. I wish I could interrogate the TV easily and find out the resolution of the program I’m viewing.
Disclosure… LG offered free webcam for review. TV is a solid TV with great picture quality and overall I’m happy. Deducting a star because the ThinQ app is very buggy and frequently disconnects or can’t find the TV. Also note that the 77 inch and smaller G3s are noticeably brighter.
The TV is great. My only feedback is that the unit should be designed with a tabletop stand and supplied with the unit. The recommended Sanus stand we are using gets a bit wonky when trying to level the TV.
I've seen lots of televisions I've owned lots of televisions this LG is the finest I've worked with few adjustments excellent picture you would think you are actually there amazing.
