Good vacuum when works

I purchased this on 07/17/24 and received it on 07/20/24 thru Amazon from a third party seller. First problem the door to dirt collection would easily come open and the spring hinged door under battery compartment had a sharp piece of the spring sticking out. Contacted seller with pictures who claimed it was a cosmetic defect from shipping. He offered us a 30% discount for defect and we could get a replacement part to fix it. Then 2 days later vacuum would only turn on for 3nin and shut off. Did everything recommend by LG troubleshooting. Now battery is bad or not charging. This vacuum is one month old today!

I bought this stick vacuum about 5 months ago, and it's been a great purchase. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment with both carpet and hardwood floors, and this handles both easily. It allows me to clean up messes quickly and is lightweight so I'm not sweating/exhausted nearly as much as I would be with other bulky corded vacuums. Also, I LOVE that you don't have to hold down a trigger to keep it on (looking at you Dyson). All you do is press a button once, and it turns on so there's no worrying about hand cramps. The instructions for cleaning the vacuum are very easy, and emptying the canister is a breeze. It came with a stand, which makes storage super easy. Overall, a solid stick vacuum for general day-to-day cleaning.A few cons: It doesn't do as great of a job ... MoreI bought this stick vacuum about 5 months ago, and it's been a great purchase. It tends to just drag/push things around when doing a backward motion, and I then have to realign the vacuum to pick it up when pushing forwards. However, since it's so lightweight and easy to use I honestly don't mind doing a couple of extra passes. I don't think it has as strong of suction compared to larger corded vacuums, but it fits my needs for my apartment. The other con is all the plastic that was used in the packaging. There was so much plastic! Certainly not great for the environment.

High hopes, but was disappointed

I brought my vacuum at Costco on sale. It was a value package with multiple attachments and a spare battery. Seemed to be a good deal when compared to the competitors. I began using it and was very pleased with the attachments and the function of the vacuum. I got to a grand total of about 1 hr of use and power circuitry totally failed. After contacting customer service, their solution was to mail it to a repair facility and wait at least a month to get it back I had high hopes for this higher end LG product, but have been very disappointed with the reliability.

Horrible service from LG
19 November 2023

The worst service experience I’ve ever had. We loved the vacuum at first; only used it occasionally as a backup. Five months later it stopped working. After running a gauntlet with the non-US based customer service folks I sent it back to LG for repair. It came back unrepaired. I had to call back, return again…and it’s now been a month and a half with no help at all. Hours spent on the phone and the last couple of times I called they asked if I was expecting a repair to be done. DUH

It’s okay

Video of product is misleading. The features shown in the video (like mopping option) are not a feature of this vacuum. There is not even a separate attachment offered to support that feature. The reason I bought this product was primarily based on the impressive features displayed in the video. I thought I got the wrong product at first. But unfortunately no, I was just misled by the product video. I’ve only used it twice at this point. And I can honestly say it’s not worth the money. And I got it 40% off and still feel I over paid.

Like most things LG, this is a solid product

It’s lightweight, convenient and has surprising suction power.I considered getting another battery since mine was not a “dual battery” model. The battery this uses is different from some models. The battery It’s grossly expensive (> $100) from LG and difficult to find elsewhere. If you get another battery be sure you get the battery specified in the Owner’s Manual. As the Manual says, it will be necessary to replace the battery “eventually.” Actually I don’t see a need for having two batteries. At this point I would not withhold a recommendation for a friend to purchase this vacuum.

Second Chance
29 July 2024

Upon receiving the vacuum, it did not work. The battery would not charge. I was very close to just sending it back and getting my money back all together. While packing it up to return, I saw the sticker that said "before you return, call this number". The associate also concluded that we had just received a "bad battery". LG sent me a new battery (took about 10 days to receive) and after charging, this one works. So far, it seems to be a good, lightweight option. Battery life not quite as long as I would like, especially in turbo, but I will make it work.

So far, I really like
10 April 2024

This is the first stick vac I've used. My first reaction was how hard it is to push over a rug. It was easier on high power but not as easy as my old vac. However, I really like its size, easy to grab for small and medium jobs, and even easier to put away. No cord to wrap up, and it stands on its own rack that also stores the extra battery. There is a button to push to make the stick longer and shorter for putting on its storage rack. I have it behind my Laundry room door, which has an outlet that I plug into.

Worst vacuum EVER
28 January 2024

The only thing I wish when purchasing this vacuum is that I had done it at Costco so I could return it. And that I had wrote this review earlier. I have hated this vacuum since I discovered how little it picks up even with boost, how stuff gets caught in the push down part of the canister, and every time you want to release something it isn’t as easy at the shark. Our shark died after 5 years, I should have bought a new one plus half the price. I only bought an LG because we just bought the stacked washer dryers, that we love. (I was on vacation for half the return window)

[Rewarded Review] LG - CordZero Cordless Stick Vacuum
20 October 2023

The LG CordZero A9 is a great cordless vacuum. I've tried many like Dyson and Samsung. It picks up most things like cereal and sugar very well, even on different carpets. It's better than some vacuums, especially on thick carpets. But sometimes, it can get clogged, and I haven't seen that with other vacuums. It's worth its price. It has an extra battery and a nice stand. The stand can be on the wall or a table. It has different tools and heads for cleaning. The battery lasts about 45 minutes to an hour. But using higher power drains it fast. It's good for cleaning under furniture. It's built well, and emptying it is easy. There's an extra filter in the box. I recommend it. It's powerful and comes with an extra battery that charges on its stand. Both batteries can ... MoreThe LG CordZero A9 is a great cordless vacuum. I've tried many like Dyson and Samsung.
