Although weve only had it a few months cant fault it. So glad we went for the non-plumbed option. It was cheaper, more practical as didnt need installation, not noisy and enough room in both freezer and fridge (keep in mind we went from single door 480L to this double door). Water filling is easy and makes heaps of ice, only time we ran out was when we had family bbq and everyone (8 ppl) kept using ice, including kids filling up their cups with crushed ice (this was also a 38C day), but it still lasted quite awhile and was good to go again in few hours. As said its still early days but very happy with our purchase.FYI worth paying for full delivery especially if stairs are involved.

Decent item, water from dispenser is not cold, if not used for a bit, seems a build up between tank and spout via the route it takes from fridge, you kinda need to prime it, dump the 1st water fill each time you use it. Its also a bit messy to dispence, especially ice as if you don't have a cup with a large mouth ice will go on the floor. The actual freezer and fridge space is pretty good, not super deep, which isnt too bad as you don't loose things in the back. Keeps stuff cold, which is great. Make sure you have the ice maker turned on in fridge, as instructios aren't overy specific. We use a Brita 8L water container in fridge and only use LG water container to make ice, combo works great. The Ice maker had all of a sudden stopped a weeks ago, and I was about to log a service call. Nature of the problem: All ice cubes had been slowly consumed over a period about 36 hours, and no more new cubes had been produced, while the water reservoir was full. (Cold water dispense was working well). I further observed that, during this 'faulty' state, Ice tray was partially filled ! While further observations were made, the tray all of a sudden rotated and dropped the half-sized ice cubes, and then started auto-filling the tray for the next bach. The Ice maker has been working well since then.

We love everything about this fridge freezer, we didn't want the hassle of having to plumb water up to the fridge, we also had mixed reviews on plumbed fridges and the volume of cold water that can be dispensed before it goes to mains water temperature. In the end we opted for this unit and it stands out, one thing we noticed was the depth, as there are no handles protruding you get extra depth in the fridge doors, it's like stepping into the tardis when you open the door. The only negative I would give it is the water pump isn't as quite as you would like, with that though I would still rate it at 5 stars due to the internal space, layout, functionality and the ice maker. Great work by LG.
The best part is definitely the ability to have a water and ice dispenser without needing it to be plumbed in. The only slight downside is it dispenses ice quite aggressively so it can fly everywhere if you don't put your glass right up to the opening. Once we learnt this, it was fine though. This is our second big purchase from appliances online, and we especially love the next day delivery and removal of old appliances. We were also able to get this fridge price matched when it was on sale elsewhere. Overall very happy!
I like the fact that it is not plumbed because our water is delivered chilled from the large water reservoir. Ice maker is great feature. Good layout with plenty of light. Tall shelves so i can see everything. Door shelves are fantastic, they hold so much and again easy to see and get at. I've utilised some storage trays to help keep specific items together and I can take them out of fridge at same time. We love our new fridge.
So far we are enjoying our fridge, we love the innovations. Just to let you know guys that when its making ice it will make a little bit of noise but its just quick and since this is not plumbed, you need to refill the small tank inside especially if its keep on making ice. It will stop once the ice compartment is full. The space inside is good for 4-6 person but it really depends on what you keep on your fridge. We are not making a lot of pre-cooked meals and leftovers so it just good for us at the moment. So far so good.
The product had everything as advertised and it definitely met the expectation. Its very convenient and spacious for a family. The good thing about it is that it doesn't require a direct water connection instead you store the water manually which helps in producing the cold water and ice. I like the feature of getting ice blocks and crushed ice. Only thing I found annoying is the sound it makes while producing the ice and the sound it used to make during the initial months. Otherwise, it was worth purchase.
All the additional features without the need to plumb in. Love the look of this fridge in our space and the colours match perfectly with our colour scheme. Ice maker and water dispenser is a great addition. Although it takes up space in the freezer door, there's still plenty of room to store more than enough food. The only downside is the fridge door has to be all the way open to access the bottom drawer which we can't do in our space as it's only 150mm from the wall. Love the notifications on my phone when the door is open. Great value for money.
I read lots of reviews before purchasing this fridge. I was very concerned about all of the comments about how noisy the ice maker is. Yes it makes a noise for a few seconds when it is making ice. But really not that bad and not often enough to even register with my family! Love chilled water and crushed ice options without the need for plumbing!The only thing I would change is the baskets for fruit and vege have handles at the bottom. I would prefer from the top. Overall a great looking appliance that suits our needs perfectly.
