Purchased in June 2021. Excellent. Simply great to use and the 9kg is good size. Tonight, reasons unknown we did one wash. We pushed start to do the next wash and nothing. It just wouldn't start. Thankfully, Google to the rescue... Heres what you do...(1) turn off power at the wall. (2) hold the start button for 5 secs to RESET. (3) Turn on power at the wall, boom - we are happy owners again. It started.

I've had this machine for a 18 months. It has started to develop a knocking sound when spinning and noisey. Alway has been but am surprised at the reveiws stating they are quiet. LG customer service is nothing people that don't listen and tell you wrong things along with poor English. Service man came mention it needed a little adjustment in the feet. Wasn't really interested when I said sounds like something loose. Wasn't even going to take the top off to look further but did. Reckon he thinks it's some part but still waiting. Know the machine seems like it's getting worse and do just wonder what further damage is being cause. I'm now at the stage I think it should be replaced.

Bought this in March 2021. Reasonably happy with the wash, but the drain seems to get blocked a lot (5 times in a year). And it is a real hassle and very messy to deal with, mid cycle - dirty water goes everywhere. Last time it got blocked, I was horrified to see this smelly black mass in there, and I was thinking "what on earth is this - kind of like when your shower drain gets blocked by your long haired teenage daughter's hair". But this time, it was an entire pair of underpants! Who would design a washing machine that a full garment – sock, underwear, handkerchief – could accidentally make its way through a drain hose into the filter and render the machine unworkable?

I have had this machine for around one year and never misses a beat no matter how big or small the job is, if u want a quick wash u have the option in under 30 mins and clothes come out clean time after time. No regrets. Now with a new house build coming up im sticking with LG, we have gone with the Lg fridge the 706l the dishwasher xd15mb, im just dissapointed that the dryer has a white rim not the stainless rim the matching pair would of been great, Also my husband has said the gx tv are the best in the market im not that up to date in the department but once tried out will leave a review. Guys grab yourself any Lg product very reasonble price.
I have had it only for a few weeks but have used it every day. washes have come out super clean and a stain that would not come out of my robe belt, is gone. have washed 3 doonas and they all have come very clean. I like the clever delayed washing feature (when to end then when to start) also the app works great EXCEPT , when installing the app it requires a second e-mail address to the address registered with LG. Not sure why I cant use the same e-mail address. Thats crazy but a quirk I have put up with
Firstly , The 39 Minute wash actually works very well. This LG washer is the quietist washing machine we have ever had to date. The direct drive is a winner for us, the laundry room is next to our living room and you can leave the door open. The large front is and looks great. The operating panel is simply to use. The only item 1 would add and I would pay more for, is to have the water solenoid at the washing machine stops.
Purchased another LG the day my 12.5 year old stopped working. Large, quiet, pretty even. Blacked flat glass door on front. Timer to have washing done when you wake up or get home for the day. And with wi-fi, it's connect to my phone. Remote controlled washing. Wow. Child lock so not even a little bump could mess the settings. Very high star rating for power and water usage. 10 year warranty on the motor. Sweet little tunes to every touch button and nice little LG melody when complete. Life is good

Am I glad we took the plunge. Best things: - Sooooo efficient at cleaning - No more untying clothes from a big knot - No wrinkles - Quiet - Easy change of spin speed - Quick 14min wash - Minimal detergent required - Minimal water usage - Fits more than enough for a family - Looks great! Our biggest worry was having the machine placed on a 2nd story wooden floor. (We have a very old Lockwood). No worries at all even on the fast 1400 spin speed. You just need to make sure the feet are properly adjusted and it’s as level as possible. Another worry was “crunchy” towels. Terrible machine, wouldn’t finish a cycle! Kept getting stuck on rinse cycle or spin cycle. Cannot handle the capacity it states. I returned it after a week and got a trusted brand that does what it states!
I purchased this machine late October. It stopped rinsing and spinning over the Christmas holidays. No washing machine. Disastrous customer support, thankfully they recorded the conversation for quality improvement because they certainly need all the help they can get. Serviceman cannot attend for over a week. You would think a brand new machine would be replaced, but no. It will be repaired. If this machine is any good why does it require repair at 6 weeks old. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS MACHINE, IT IS AN UTTER DUDD. I only gave it one star because there was nothing lower - there's another quality improvement for you LG, add in a negative in your overall rating you may be surprised how many people will rate your appliances this low. Never again will I purchase anything LG.
