I have a love/hate relationship with my washing machine!!! I like having a front-loader machine. I like the soap dispenser area-you don’t have to use as much soap in this high efficiency machine as you would in a traditional top loading machine. I like that I can run a turbo wash or quick wash and have my clothes washed in as little as 15-20 minutes for lightly soiled clothing. I like the many other features for washing options on this washing machine. Now the cons-I CANNOT STAND the smell that can be emitted from the gasket area of this machine if it is not dried out/off between washes. It can have a musty smell that is just noxious. This is a pain in the neck but it has to be done to avoid the growth of yuck!!!

Amazing

I ordered this the 14kg LG front load washing machine a month ago and just got it yesterday, all I can say it is amazing. My old front loader washing machine was a LG 7kg but this one bets it hands down. I love how it analyzes the load before it starts, then it will tell you how long it will take. I have done 2 weeks of washing in 1 day in 5 loads and now on to all the quilts which is the main reason I brought this machine. I can not wait till all my king size quilts are nice and fresh thanks to LG. It is great how it connects to the app on your phone and you get a notification for when your load is finish instead of having to listens for the ring of the machine

Front vs Top, not a battle, but brothers in arms

Have always been a top loader is better believer. This front loader has changed my mind. Easy to use, water saver and makes washing my blankets, pillows etc a dream. Have read reviews that people complain about long wash times etc, this machine washes in about the same time as my top loader. I also have the LG 14Kg top loader, so both have their advantages. Never had a problem with LG washing machines and have owned them for 8 years. This is my 3rd machine and love the large 14Kg capacity.

It's big, it's black and it's sexy!

It's big, it's black and it's sexy!And it's not what you're thinking! It's the beautiful LG 14kg washing machine! We used to do multiple loads of washing a day, kid's school uniforms, soccer uniform, sports gear etc... and our clothes. Now we've drastically reduced the number of loads we do.It's silent, and economic. We absolutely love it! Even the kids use it because it has built in Artificial Intelligence. How amazing is that!

Mould issues

I bought this machine less than a year ago and while it is a great machine at washing and great size, we have mould under the tub not accessable to clean. This is despite me doing multiple tub cleans and leaving the door open between washes. I have been told by customer service that I have to pay for a repairman if I want to have it cleaned properly.

No manual overide

I bought this last October 2020 and the powerboard was broken. Clothes were stuck for days before it got fixed and was damaged. I ask for a replacement of the unit and will never ask for compensation since it was the powerboard and there is no manual overide to open the washer if it occurs again. They replaced the powerboard but never replaced the unit. How can I trust a product thats gets broken under 24 months without a manual overide to avoid clothes being damaged.As a consolation support is good but avoid this product.

Super quiet and reliable with a great drum size.

Absolutely love everything about my washing machine. Love that it has different cycles for everything and tells you when you need a drum clean. Clothes come out much cleaner and fresher than with my previous machine. Loving the big drum to be able to do super king duvets.

Why wash your clothes when clothes are still dirty

Had a lovely top loader for years and was working beautifully. Bought this bigger LG front loader washer and dryer. To start with it the dryer doesn’t dry but on top of it the washer gives u dirty clothes back (I could still smell my sons sweaty sports clothes after washing). I am so disappointed that I went with LG name. I tried different settings, put in various detergents to get it work but each time it fails. Finally today I realised it hardly uses any water. I tried various settings but again same result, dirty clothes after washing. It basically uses so little water that clothes are not cleaned at all.

Yes, it's worth it!

Love it! I was a little sceptical after having the old style dryer that it wouldn't dry properly.Happy to say it does and it's fantastic. My clothes feel softer?! No more hot sweaty dusty laundry. Worth ever cent for the much cheaper running costs too. Currently recycling the water after use for my plants.

loving the time it saves

It is so amazing how much you can fit into this machine. We have gone from 5 loads of washing a week to just two. I keep thinking of the time energy and water we are saving. Easy to use instructions as we learn how to work the wash cycles. I would recommend this machine for any family.
