I purchased this LG vacuum less than two years ago, and unfortunately, both batteries no longer hold a charge. The extra battery has never really even been used, and it is failed as well!! Now, when I need replacement batteries, they are on sale but out of stock! This situation is very frustrating as I invested a significant amount in this vacuum, opting for the battery model, only to find it practically worthless after just a few short years of once-a-week light use. I have also noticed many other reviews echoing my experience.I am extremely disappointed and feel compelled to switch to another brand unless LG can make this right. I hope the company can address these battery issues and offer appropriate concessions to affected customers like myself.

I've had this vacuum about 3 years. It's the second LG Cord Zero stick vacuum that I have bought. It worked great for the first couple of years, then the batteries stopped holding a charge. I think the batteries are wearing out, as the vacuum will run for about 5 minutes and stop. I turn it back on after a few seconds and then it stops working again. I have 4 batteries (2 are from the original Cord Zero that I bought), and they are all in pretty much the same sad state. They just won't charge. I recently bought a Shark stick vacuum, and I hate it! I want my LG Cord Zero working correctly again! I've just ordered a new, very expensive battery here for it, and I hope it solves the problem!

I checked the website and saw that a replacement battery is quite expensive. I expected the original batteries to last longer than three years. Before purchasing a replacement, I’d like to know the normal lifespan of battery. Would someone from LG share the info? Overall, while the vacuum itself is excellent, the battery issue has been a big letdown.

Clever design, terrible battery life. My CordZero vacuum works great, but both batteries that came with it failed inside of 18 months. LG no longer has replacement batteries in stock, and I'm afraid to buy a sketchy off-brand replacement that might immolate. So now I'm stuck with a useless vacuum. Plus, even if LG had replacement batteries in stock, buying two is nearly half the cost of the original machine.
I have had my cordless vac for a little less than a year and the battery on it is absolutely horrible. It runs for five seconds and then dies out. I’m not going to spend $200 on a vacuum that was 400 and now I’m stuck with this dead vacuum, please do not purchase this product now I have to buy a new one. I’m really disappointed in LG.

And now when it looks like i need batteries, they are on sale but out of stock! Very frustrating as i took a chance spending a lot for this vacuum trying the battery models and now it is worth less after just a few short years of once a week light use. I also see many other reviews like mine. Very disappointed and will be switching to another brand!
LG has really let me down with their vacuums. We have trusted LG because of their wonderful washers and dryers. Even our fridge is LG. in comes these newer vacuums. They do not stand behind their products. Ours failed after around 2 years where our previous dyson lasted around 8. Not only will they not fix our battery charging issue, they refuse to admit there are CRITICAL flaws with their own product.
Both batteries that came in the box went bad after a little over a year. One ramps up the suction to max as soon as you turn it on and then does after 10 seconds. The next will last maybe 5 minutes on low power. This is crazy $400+ for a vacuum that can’t last 2 years. LG is supposed to be high quality. This is very frustrating. And replacement batteries from LG cost $150
the batteries included with the purchase do not last, so don't buy this vaccum. The design is goodand performed better than a dyson. BUT, within a year both batteries are nonfunctional and replacement batteries cost half the proice of a vacuum. It's a no brainer, manufacturer no longer offers battery replacement wonder why? Dont buy this vacuum its a bad investment
Was really liking this vacuum for the past three years until both batteries have stopped holding a charge. Really really frustrating since the replacements are quite expensive! Have done all the trouble shooting tips as well. Approximately 1-2 times a week light duty use and always ensure it was placed back onto the charging station.Odd that these are the same milliamps as my small phone external battery that I've had for nearly 10 years and no issue at all! I'd expect much longer battery life than just three years.
