After 6 weeks of use I had an error code come up. It took an email and 2 phone calls before I got a tech appointment. The information I had given in my report wasn't passed on and the attending tech didn't have the right parts with him, so he had to come back, this was a week before X-Mas, so I was with out it over the X-mas period, almost 4 weeks in total. Then, a few weeks later, had the same error code come back. The service help desk are a nightmare to deal with, took 25 minutes just to try and book a tecnicain to come out. It can't be that hard. LG person kept putting me on hold and disappearing for minutes at a time after the simplest question. We bought our new LG dishwasher after seeing other reviews and reading about the features. So far so good. Enjoying the features it has. Our old dishwasher always got stuck trying to empty the water which was a real pain! This model has a steamFunction that we haven’t used yet, but planning to use it to clean the range hood filters etc. The unit was easy to fit under bench with adjustable height and also comes with a rubber strip to protect the cupboard from steam when the door opens, automatically after a wash! Very cool!The only downside that I can acknowledge is that there is no interior light. Our last unit had one and was helpful.Overall this unit is highly recommended.
This dishwasher does an amazing job. Leaves everything clean without smelling like dishwasher tablets
The 3 draws works well, Cutlery draw is great, much cleaner than the old basket arrangements. Quiet operation. Adjustable draws makes fitting large items easier.No complaints from the stackers !!
I bought this product in august 2021. Buttons were very temperamental. After 4 weeks it completely stopped working. It is a very expensive product and I have been waiting over 4 weeks (with out use of a dishwasher) for a resolution from LG. Very poor customer service. We are now in November 2021 and still no resolution. Unfortunately I am unable to properly review the product as it hasn’t worked properly since purchasing
If your inlet hose has a complicated path to the tap, you may find installation is not as easy as you expect. The tap connector has a large electronic device on the inlet hose which meant I had to enlarge 3 holes behind draws and purchase a right angle extender for the tap in order to connect the dishwasher to the inlet tap. This is the third dishwasher installed to this location and the only one that could not be installed out of the box. A couple of hours of unexpected work and a delay to purchase the right angle extender. In short a PITA.I'm really not sure what the designers were thinking with the countdown display. The layout is very flexible with fold down plate racks and a height adjustable upper tray.The app connectivity is I suppose a small bonus. I will see over time if I ever need to download a new cycle but it is handy to get notification when the cycle has completed and as the display is not visible with the door shut, you need to look at the app to see how long for the cycle to complete.
