Super excited to ride this bad boy!I had the 2021 165W and it rode great. However, I felt it was a little to big for my style of riding. That's why I bought this years 161W.Has all the requirements I need for the type of shredding I do up at crystal mountain!

Package never arrived. Now I'm left arguing with the company over loss recovery. Nomads expects me to take nothing and be satisfied with that .... Brutal . They are hoping fedex gives them some of the money for the lost item . Whatever fedex gives them is what I'll get nothing more ...No insurance/no signature required ....

Obviously this 172 Skunk Ape is beautiful, constructed perfectly and follows the Lib Tech mantra "Dream Board" in every possible way. Evo handled my purchase flawlessly and made sure I had this deck in hand quickly.

Love the graphic on the board, feels great coasting down the hill!
Having a lot of fun on the Skunk Ape 2. The hybrid camber feels more like a surf board than a wakeboard feel of a traditional camber shape imo.
Great board for larger guys with big feet. Magna-Traction works well in icy conditions.
This board has been injected with viagra, hazy-ipa and hollering happy turns. Rider must be ready for super sweet shreddy after last nights spaghetti! Go fast, turn hard, wear helmet, be nice to kids and old people. It's hot dog weather soon. Load up the pup pup and popo. Let's go!!!!
Absolutely love this board. I'm a big guy 6'3 260 lbs and this board took everything I can throw at it . Groomers Glades steeps had it in 30 inches of fresh powder and it floated great no problem magna traction bailed me out on some scratchy days . Only fault that I could find with it was hard pack crud. The ape is soft And kind of went over it more than plowed out of the way, by comparison, MY Burton Malalo is a battleship that plows its way through.
So far so good! I haven't ridden the board yet but all my research indicated that this board was the best all around board for tall riders (6'4" - 220 lbs). I had a Lib Tech Litigator 174 for many years and loved the smooth ride. I picked up some XL Flow bindings for smoothness of transition so I'm lookign forward to the coming season.
Definitely a board that prefers to be moving quickly, carves phenomenally, and most certainly has the float you need for deeper days. It is a pretty directional board, but definitely can be ridden switch for a little while as needed.
