At first I was a little put off by the metallic taste and it takes 30 min for the lozenge to dissolve. But I felt a huge, positive experience the same day I took it. I slept better, my brain fog lifted and I felt upbeat! I have been taking different zinc supplements for half a year, but after realizing that my stomach doesn't absorb supplements I've been switching to lozenges. I got zinc acetate recommended for SIBO so I gave it a shot. It works wonders!

These are great at warding off cold/flu/viruses - I take one whenever anyoneon else in my household is sick or when illnesses are spreading around at work. As a lozenge I expected it to dissolve fairly quickly however with these you need to suck on them for like an hour before they fully dissolve! They are about twice as thick as regular lozenges so can feel a bit awkward in your mouth at first.

Very pleasant taste, softens the throat when resorbed. Sometimes after taking zinc (I noticed on pharmacy preparations), I may feel sick, after these lozenges I did not observe anything like that. If you suddenly show up - try not to take it on an empty stomach. I see the effect, I also take it with the beginning of a sore throat according to the instructions every 2 hours, it greatly facilitates unpleasant sensations. I recommend it!

When winter was coming on I woke up one morning with a cold and a sore throat. I had bought these before winter thinking I might need them. Turns out I did need them so for several evenings before going to bed I took one of these lozenges and when I woke up in the morning my throat felt a lot better and I only had a slight cold that lasted for a few days. I feel it had help me along with the vit. C. It did have a slight metallic taste for me.
I supplement with zinc since my doctor toId me I'm a bit deficient in zinc. I like the taste of these big lozenges, but I wish they were a bit softer since there's always a temptation to bite a lozenge. Because these are a bit too hard for biting, I worry about cracking a tooth. I guess that's why the label says not to chew the lozenges.Also, like any zinc-only supplement, this has the potential for inhibiting the absorption of copper. Fortunately, there is a cautionary note on the bottle. For that reason, I do not use these zinc lozenges daily. I have another zinc supplement which also contains copper, and I use that from time to time, as well.
This zinc supplement meets my body's needs for additional zinc. It tastes good but I have to remember to take it after eating else I feel nauseous and food tastes funny if I take it before eating. Since taking zinc, I have not had any mouth ulcers (canker sores) or depressions on my nails. This is a good supplement for such deficiencies and is better than the zinc supplements combined with other things that you do not want to take regularly (ex. Echinacea). Tablet quality is excellent.
I've used one of these Life Extension zinc lozenges every time I've visited a crowded place or used public transport since April 2020.Zinc acetate has the unique ability to deliver antiviral zinc ions throughout the nose and throat. It takes around half an hour to dissolve one of these slowly in the mouth. It's important to let it fully dissolve and not chew it up. They're very well formulated not to be crumbly and unlike some lozenges they don't contain any substances that bind with the zinc. These are a quality product. They're not overly sweet or particularly minty, they have just a hint of both those tastes.
I was surprised, they are so small! But I like it, the small size of the lozenges makes them easy to eat. The flavor is also surprisingly quite tasty. I like the citrus taste and it's almost like candy. Makes a nice change from huge tablets.I take this when I have acne to help them go down faster. Zinc is also great for keeping up the immune system, so I give some to my family as well.Nice packaging as always from this brand. Despite being more expensive, I think their products are good quality, so I am willing to buy them over cheaper brands.
