I really enjoy Life Savers Wint O Green Mints! The refreshing minty flavor is perfect for a quick breath freshener, and the large 50-ounce bag is great for having plenty on hand. These are a must have in my house. We always keep them in our candy dish people that come over are always grabbing them. One of my all time favorites.. Have liked these since I was a little kid. Thank God they still make them with REAL SUGAR!I eat very little sugar. I sweeten most of my fruit and drinks with stevia and agave nectar. Although agave nectar is a natural sugar that is a product of the agave nectar fruit, it is a very low glycemic sweetener.

I like the idea that they are individually wrapped. The flavor is great. They also are veryhelpful when you have low blood sugar. They also do not melt in the Arizona heat in my purse. I would like it if the slid out of the wrapping easier. I have to cut many of them.

Known as “Grandpa Gervais Mints”

My father in law always had a stash of wintergreen Life Savers in his car and when he’d come into the neighborhood the kids would come running asking “Grandpa Gervais, do you have any mints?” It became his special thing. He has since passed but my husband carries on the Gervais Mint tradition.I personally love these mints in the wintergreen flavor. They freshen your breath but are not so strong in flavor that they are uncomfortable to eat. I always carry a baggie in my purse to share.

Nope...not for my tastebuds!

I wanted to like these since now I can not have sugar. So I got this bag and smelled the minty-chalk scent. It was not appealing but I popped one in my mouth and regretted it. The taste was unlike the regular sugar mints. It had a medicinal off flavor. I tried a couple, but could not eat neither one. The smell reminded me of the awful taste and I had to throw it away, out of the house. Different tastes for different tastebuds. Yuck!

Something changed and it’s not a good change

Haven’t had in a while. Love wintergreen and was craving it so got a bag. Something has changed because they taste nothing like they used to. At first there is a slight wintergreen flavor but it quickly turns to what tastes like it would be a pesticide. Tried a second one in case it was just that one but same thing.

I enjoy the bold taste of lifesavers wint o green. I aslo like that it comes individually wrapped so i can stash a few in purse or pocket and they stay clean . I purchased this size so my husband and i can have own bags , and the value of having choice sizes is great also.
