The brighter big brother LIFX recommended for main living areas, with full colour palette control. No hub required and easy set up.
I bought this one mostly for the cool/warm light feature, as I dont use the colours that much. I have two lamps in the room with warm lights in them, so I wished this one could pair them when theyre all on. But the warm light is more on the reddish side than the yellow one. So I cant match the lighting properly, which was the whole purpose I bought it. The bulb claims to be 75w equivalent but it is not that bright to be honest. The quality looks good and the app response is fine, but once again if youre looking to get proper color (warm/cool), I wouldnt recommend this one.
Great product to have fun with lights along with being practical. No problems so far.
Easy to set up and you don not require an extra hub to link everything. Great value for money, Would probably only choose white as its for hallway and landing. The colors are excellent and a little bit of fun. Great you can set it to come on at dusk.
I chose LIFX because no extra hub is needed to control the lighting and set up and use is reasonably straight forward. They are good to look at even when not lit and the colours are very rich and satisfying. This was the latest of over five purchases I have made of the brand. The company has updated its software regularly and offers far more sophistication than I have so far explored. I hope they can survive in the cut throat world of international technology.
Does what it says on the box and more! . Set up required install of Android app and registration but app is very good - offering preset themes and effects such as 'Spooky'. Also works great through Google Home, with minimal setup.
