I had to get an adapter and it's just not as good a connection as nearly anything else would be. IMHO, micro-usb is far too flimsy.Connecting to PC is far more problematic than just using the spider mobile app.It's probably a little more complicated than it should be for a beginner, but it's feature rich for the money.

The quality of the product is great! The tone quality is excellent, and it has a number of different effects built in, so no need for a pedal, although you can use one if you prefer. For the price, this amp is awesome. It's great for at home practice, although if you ever need it to be loud, it can get quite loud.

Face it, at 20w power, this is a practice amp. But, don't let size deceive you, this little amp can get loud! This amp replaced an amp I had that was at least 15 years old, so the new one has a lot of effects built into it that was not available 15 years ago. I like that. I have not used the program that comes with it(I read people were having issues with that, and I got this amp for practice). Even though I'm not hooked up to the internet the pre sets offer enough variety of effects to keep me happy(sample settings: Clean, Chunky, Insane, Ambient, Vibe, Bass, and Acoustic). Now, you may be wondering, all this good stuff you're pointing out, how come only 3 stars? There is a harshness to the sound I just don't like. I do recommend this amp for practice but I wouldn't take it "as is" to a small gig(maybe there's a pedal that would help?) because of the harshness.
Absolutely hands down cannot beat the value for the price. Bought this for my son to start playing with his own equipment. Absolutely loved it. Tried all other amps in price range and he fell in love with this one. I personally have a line 6 spider v 240 and this little thing is still awesome. If you're new to playing or just need a small practice amp you can't go wrong here.
Its a good practice or beginner amp. BUT what sucks is that you cant use a Line6 floor switch like the older models. And the "app" you use as a controller is the worst. It hasnt been updated and both Android and Apple OS have constant issues with it.
Amazingly good sound, compact, lightweight. But a number of times in pressing the SAVE button things locked up and I couldn't make any more changes or change presets until I powered the amp off and back on. Performing a a factory reset didn't help. Rturned to MF for replacement. Made in China.
The product is good for those dabbling/playing as a hobby. It comes with a free recording studio and amp hub for computer which is awesome. The sound is good until you start getting too heavy. For example, it sounds poppy every time I play the 7th string on my 7 string. It's like the speaker can't handle the bass. Otherwise, it's a good speaker.

I play mostly pop punk and metal and the sound fits perfect it can emulate the Mesa sound from late 90s pop punk and the chuggy power of a krank for a deathcore sound.Features:Most useful feature is the spider v remote app the tuner is probably the most useless only because it doesnt display what note youre actually tuning to.Ease of Use:If you've never played with tine shaping the app can be overwhelming but once you find an amp and cab setup you like the sound of its really easy to shape the tone. I started using it to record with and the output quality through the USB is perfect and makes a separate rack interface basically pointless. This amp replaced about 1200 bucks worth of recording equipment for making demos in a 20 lb box of holy sh*t awesomeness.
I live in an apartment where I cannot play super loud at any time I'd like. This amp doesn't lose sound quality when the volume is lowered. I love the headphones jack, I can just play in and play without bothering anyone if I so choose. The multiple preset knob is fantastic for quick easy playing.Negatives include: Complicated programs needed to download in order to use the amp to its full potential. It says "looper" effect, but it doesnt specify that you need an amp and phone in order to do that. If your phone or cable doesn't support Micro USB, you can't use that function.
